Those captivating first few days full of new love as you spend your days snuggling your newborn, soaking in their baby smell, marvelling at the size of their tiny toes and fingers are so fleeting and pass in a blur.

Unlike the average newborn photographer, I didn't fall in love with newborn photography when I had my first baby. Instead like so many women, my fertility journey hasn't been as straight forward as I imagined it would be. But it is my personal fertility struggle that has led me into maternity and newborn photography.
My newborn and baby sessions are baby-led, this approach allows me to keep my photography style natural and connection focussed. Love, light and soft textures inspire my work allowing the sessions and artwork to be all about your new baby. My styling is minimal and uncluttered so your baby remains the star of every photo and means your photos will not date over time.
Choosing a newborn photographer can be a complicated process, especially for first-time parents, so here is everything you need to know about newborn photography sessions with me. Just Bubs is a mini newborn photography session for those wanting a few simple images to document this chapter of welcoming their baby to the world.
My baby sessions are designed for babies 3-12 months old and are perfect for celebrating their first-year milestones. For babies aged between 3 - 7 months, the stage when they are full of smiles and starting to lift their heads and interacting with the world around them. That special time when bubs has mastered the skill of sitting unaided but is not yet crawling.
As your pregnancy progresses you will no doubt feel like it is the longest 9 months of your life as you grow increasingly impatient waiting to meet your little companion, however, once baby arrives and you are totally consumed with them on the outside you'll quickly forget how you looked, how you felt, how big you were.

Our newborn session with Paula was nothing short of an awesome one experience. She is a very kind hearted , soft spoken person and very down to earth. She was wonderful With our little one and made all three of us very comfortable and relaxed and that definitely reflected in our photos..she beautifully managed our little boy and was able to capture so many beautiful shots of him. Paula is a talented, professional, and friendly photographer. She was quick to respond and answer questions and happily tailored a package to suit our needs. I loved our sessions with Paula - she made us feel very comfortable in her clean and bright studio. As a new mama I don’t have a lot of extra time on my hands to leave reviews, that being said my experience with Paula was absolutely worth the trip out of my home 10 days after giving birth. Her studio was warm (it was wintertime) and cosy. She is a lovely photographer with a genuine heart and love to capture this special time in our lives. My photos are stunning and classy, I got to feel beautiful even though I was still recovering ❤️ you will never regret your time spent with her and your photos will bring you a lifetime of joy

We loved our photography session with Paula and the prints we bought as a result. She was down to earth and lovely to chat to, patient with our grizzly newborn (and with us when we couldn’t decide what photos we liked best), and has the most perfect little studio to make you feel comfortable and at home. Our experience with Paula was such a delight! I had no idea how we would wrangle a baby, a dog, two parents and two grandparents into any kind of order to capture the perfect shots but this Wonder Woman did it. Not only did we feel super comfortable & relaxed, we had a lot of fun. The photos she captured were just beautiful and we are so happy with the end result. Would highly recommend Paula to anyone!

Paula is amazing!! If you are looking for a photographer, please do yourself a favour and look no further. From responsiveness, to her kind and caring nature all the way to the complete professionalism of her work, the experience we had was better then expected. Paula photographed our 9 week old when most photographers weren’t interested, assuring us that we would get photos just as beautiful. On the day, we became anxious and doubtful as our little guy decided he wanted to play up and do everything opposite to what we needed him to be doing.
