Gold Coast Dentist Dr Nigel Seeto; he arrived to Brisbane with his family from Papua New Guinea in the 1970's, attended Ascot State Primary School and St Joseph's College Nudgee. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 1987 at the University of Queensland and has been living and practicing dentistry on the Gold Coast ever since.
Some of our general services include but are not limited to; comprehensive examinations for the whole family (including oral cancer scan), scale & clean, fluoride, orthodontic assessments, mouthguards (see below), mercury-free composite fillings, education & treatment involving the increasingly common dental erosion issue, Periodontal Disease (gum disease) diagnosis & management, root canal treatments and wisdom teeth assessment and removal, We also offer the full range of cosmetic services.
We offer in-surgery & take home teeth whitening, porcelain crowns, bridges and the ever popular composite veneers & porcelain veneers. We can also make bonded composite bridges which can close a 'gap' and achieve a very real 'tooth like' appearance without the cost that is associated with porcelain bridges.
Porcelain fused to metal crowns are where the inner core of the crown is constructed of a gold alloy material to which porcelain is fused. Aside from the full gold crowns (where the tooth appears as yellow gold in colour) this is the strongest crown a dental technician can make. Although a great cosmetic result can be achieved, due to the inner metal core, sometimes the colour can't be matched perfectly.
A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is bonded on to the enamel of the tooth and are generally used to dramatically improve the appearance of your smile. This option is a more conservative treatment compared to crowns, as less tooth structure has to be removed. Like crowns, veneers usually take two appointments to complete, the first to prepare the tooth.

Great dentist. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Had a great over all experience. Dr Nigel Seeto always asked about comfort levels and continued to throughout the whole appointment. Had a check up and teeth cleaning. Was not pressured into anything. The doctor just told me what he thought and recommended. Will definitely be going back.

I recently had a wisdom tooth taken out and had been putting it off for years after hearing of people's bad experiences, but Nigel did a great job I had instant relief and no swelling or pain the following days.
The team at the dentist do a great job of making you feel relaxed and not afraid of getting work done. Prices are very affordable I couldn't be happier with my experience

I found Nigel after needing a dentist rather quickly after suffering pain in 1 of my teeth, tried a few different places but these guys fit me in straight away. Nigel is the best dentist I've ever been to, his attention to detail is second to none and the girls in the office are great and friendly, my whole family now see Nigel & I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist on the Gold Coast.

I am absolutely terrified of the dentist - so when my crown came off, I was less than happy to be looking for one. I don't have a dentist as I am here from the US and relied on Google reviews to find Dr. Seeto's office. I explained my situation and was given an appointment the same day. I was able to save my temporary crown and they were able to put it back in place without issue. Everyone was more than happy to help me and their friendliness helped to ease my anxiety as much as possible. I can't speak highly enough of everyone there. Dr. Seeto was calm, patient and explained each thing he was
