Services
Osteopathy is a form of manual healthcare which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. The body is a unit, you are connect from head to toe, you can't hurt one part of your body without affecting another part of the body.
Bendigo Osteo has a strong reputation for practicing Cranial Osteopathy. It is a specialised area of treatment and a clinical focus at our Clinic. Dr Matt, Dr Jeremy and Dr Merryn (Osteopaths) have practise in this subtler form of treatment and annually participate in Cranial and Biodynamic Training Courses in Australia and New Zealand with Osteopathic Studies.
At Bendigo Osteo, our Osteopaths (Matt, Merryn & Maddy) are trained in Dry Needling. It is one of many techniques used in treatments and you can discuss with them whether it is suitable for you. Firstly, it is not acupuncture. Acupuncturist's practice under Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts that the body's energy can be restored through needling 'energy channels' called 'meridians'.
Your body undergoes a tremendous transition throughout the course of pregnancy and at Bendigo Osteo our aim is to assist women adapt to the musculoskeletal changes in their body. Thus supporting them towards optimal health for labour and post natal recovery. When you become pregnant, hormones are released into your body that 'relax' the joints and ligaments in order to accommodate for the growing baby.
So why would you take your baby to see an Osteopath? All newborn babies experience a degree of trauma during the birthing process because of the pressure exerted during labour. This trauma may cause soft tissue tension and misalignment of the cranial bones of the skull or other areas of the musculoskeletal system.

Had the best massage with Jess, I’ve had a lot of massages and I can honestly say I haven’t been that relaxed in my life. The lady at reception was also super lovely!! Will definitely be coming back!

Best place for an osteopathic treatment, massage and even clinical Pilates! All the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the treatments are amazing. After almost ten years of being a client, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

We have had nothing but professional and caring service from the Osteopath’s and their staff, they are also fantastic with young children. We would highly recommend Bendigo Osteo to our family and friends.

Very nice place and good staff. However the session was very poor for me. I felt like the theoropest did not understand my problem with my back.

Unfortunately not a good experience here. New to the area and the practice but been to multiple great osteos over the last 20 years. Left in tears with no relief and therapist suggesting I needed to find "someone I got along with better"?!
