Buildcorp's Queensland team has proudly taken home three awards from the MBA QLD 2021 'Housing and Construction' Awards. This film highlights the benefits of timber construction which helped us deliver the award winning Ainsworth Building for Macquarie University. As Managing Director and Co-Founder of Buildcorp, Tony's career has spanned over four decades of leadership in construction, rugby and the community. Tony began his career with roles at Civil and Civic and Girvan Corporation before founding Buildcorp in 1990. Some 31 years later Buildcorp has delivered circa $6bn in projects, many award winning, across Australia's east coast and now employs more than 350 staff.
To achieve this mission, our industry leading safety system utilises data, insights and proactive initiatives to protect our teams and 'The Buildcorp Way'. Proudly, our safety system has received a number of awards recognising its effectiveness, innovation and risk management. Above all, it's also down to our culture and our efforts to connect to the 'why' of our site teams to make the importance of safety resonate every day.
Sustainable workplaces are healthy workplaces and Buildcorp's commitment to continual learning has helped us stay abreast of the evolution of sustainability innovations and regulations. Our people are Green Star Accredited Associates and have helped our clients develop solutions for a range of GreenStar, NABERS, LEEDS and WELL projects.
Buildcorp's commitment to the right processes informed by continual learning has driven the development of our industry leading systems over the last three decades.
