Physiotherapy is a method of assessment, prevention and treatment that uses physical means and exercise to relieve pain, restore range of movement, regain muscle strength and return patients to normal activities of daily life including work, recreation and sport. Podiatry is the method of preventing, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating conditions of the feet and lower limbs.
Clinical Pilates is an exercise regime run by specially qualified physiotherapist, designed to stimulate the deep spinal muscles, or "core muscles" to function more efficiently. Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being.

At SSPC, your Physiotherapist can use specific tests to analyse your body's movements to determine weakness, imbalances or a lack of joint range. This can help in screening you for signs of an injury before it develops as a result of your chosen sport or activity.
Screening looks at the body's movements that may be required for particular sports and compares your capabilities in reference to where someone of your gender, age, size and shape should be.At SSPC, our tests are derived by obtaining information from sporting institutes and national sporting leagues on their injury rates.

At SSPC we have had the ViMove and ViPerform technology, developed by DorsaVi for about 3 years. In fact we were among the first few clinics in the world to have this technology. ViMove and ViPerform is new cutting edge clinical technology that uses wireless sensor technology to accurately and objectively measure movement and muscle activity of your lower back and legs and turns it into actionable data.
SSPC is now offering specialised paediatric physiotherapy at both our Parkdale and East Bentleigh clinics. Paediatric physiotherapy is aimed at developing children from birth through to 18 years of age. It covers neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory functions and seeks to optimise movement and participation of the child within their environment.
The process of Real Time Ultrasound Imaging (RTUI) is very similar to the ultrasound process women undergo during pregnancy, and that many people go through for medical diagnoses. RTUI involves transmitting of sound waves through the body. These sound waves are reflected off the internal body structures and organs resulting in an image of different muscles within the body that can be displayed on a screen for your instant viewing.

Before I met these guys, I had been seeing a few different physios/myos/remedial and even chiros for some old injuries that I couldn't quite get on top of pain and mobility wise.. Already after my first treatment with Neeraj, I felt better, and apart from the "maintenance" appointments I have for my shoulder and elbow, (as I don't really know how to rest ;) ) I feel like I am back to my normal self!

Neeraj and his complete team at SSPC Parkdale are, simply put, dead set legends.
Since 2012 they've helped me negotiate some tricky health concerns, and have done so with professionalism, integrity, compassion, commitment, warmth, and the deepest knowledge of their craft.
I can't think of a better place to go to stay well, or sort out an injury or problem.

SSPC was recommended by my orthopaedic surgeon for rehab after a labral tear repair. I am so happy I took his advice. Even though I travel from Lysterfield, twice per week, my treatment with Neeraj is an absolute delight and definitely worth the trip. I had lost a lot of strength in the months leading up to my surgery, but my sessions in the gym, using the Pilates equipment and Neeraj working on my seized up muscles, has seen a vast improvement in my strength and stamina. A huge thank-you to Neeraj, who has me enjoying walking my dogs again!

Dane is an absolute legend. I’ve gone from barely being able to run due to back and nerve pain and with his guidance, strength/stability program and low load back to running program I am now able to run again. I have flare ups, but I always know what to go back to and will always reach out to Dane if I’m needing to change things up a bit. I highly recommend any keen runners having issues to get in with Dane ASAP!

I would definitely recommend SSPC After many cortisone injections in both shoulders ( which is only a band aide to help you with pain) the pain comes back if you don’t strengthen the muscles around the injury!! No Doctor, Radiologist professional has ever told me that until I went to a rheumatologist and she recommended physio And upon seeing… Tanya at SSPC Two weeks in of doing her exercises I do not wake up with that terrible pain in my shoulders every night no more anti-inflammatories or Cortizone injections for me!!! Get to your physiotherapist at SSPC now!! And please note that
