Services
Caring Dentistry for a Health Smile has been our policy from the day Dr Austin Jones and Dr Paul Jones first opened their doors on Crown Street Wollongong in 1962, more than 50 years ago. Dr Michael Jones joined the practice a few years later and now Dr Celia Jones, Michael's daughter, proudly carries on the family name at Jones Dental.
The Jones Dental team have been providing quality, caring family dentistry to the Illawarra for over 50 years. Our knowledgeable dental professionals have years of experience and are passionate about providing the best oral health care to all of our patients and their families. Dr Andrew Chadban was born in Wollongong and graduated from the University of Sydney in 1986.
At Jones Dental we understand that some people don't look forward to dental appointments and can find the thought of visiting the dentist daunting. This feeling is not uncommon, with many patients telling us their fear of the dentist comes from a poor dental experience when they were younger. Our whole team is here to make your dental experience as comfortable as possible.
As a service to our patients, we offer a range of payment options including cash, credit card, Eftpos, Afterpay, private health insurance rebates and interest free terms. See below for details. We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, Diners Club, Union Pay. We accept Afterpay.
At Jones Dental our motto is 'Caring Dentistry for a Health Smile' and not only is this reflective of our relationship with our patients, it is also a reflection of the heart of our organisational culture, caring and smiles. A family based practice for more than 50 years, Jones Dental has a number of long standing staff members, some who have been a part of our team for over 20 years!

I have seen Celia at Wollongong and Unanderra practice for treatment. I even brought my daughter along for a check up. She is very lovely and welcoming, friendly even. I was going to make Jones Dental my family's dental care provider. Until I had fillings done on 3 of my teeth. Not only did Celia work on 3 teeth instead of just the 2 that we agreed on, but she did not even ask permission or confirmation that she can proceed with the 3rd tooth. I still got charged for it. Imagine if I couldn't pay for it? After all, it cost me $810 (before private health insurance). If this wasn't enough, I have

My usual dentist is Michael Wood, who is the best. Unfortunately I couldn't get in to see him the other day, so I saw Dr Jie Dan Luo, who was very good. I had broken a tooth and was very uptight about what may have to be done. I need not have worried, he fixed my tooth, without any bother, he was very gentle. I can highly recommend him. Thank you.

I called and they insisted they had never done any work on that tooth or the other I had done in the session! They insisted that their record keeping is so accurate it was not possible for me to be right. I was also
