The crack exposes the inside of the tooth (the 'dentine') that has very small fluid filled tubes leading to the nerve ('pulp') of the tooth. Flexing of the tooth opens the crack and causes movement of the fluid within the tubes. When you release the biting pressure the crack closes and the fluid pressure simulates the nerve and causes pain.

Like most people I do not look forward to a dentist visit. I have been going to see Dr Farah Hares for around 5 years now and I would never go anywhere else. Their practice is state of the art. Dr Farah is the best dentist I have ever been to, she makes me feel welcome but most importantly calm and reassured during the visits. Keep up the awesome work Dental Avenue!

Dr Tony Saad and his team were highly recommended to me and I’m so pleased I went. A thoroughly professional team attended to me with the utmost of care. Clean, hygienic, comfortable and impeccable service. Couldn't ask for anything more when visiting your dentist. The reception staff are absolutely amazing and are always so lovely, as are the dentists. I know I am always in the best of hands when Dr Saad and his assistants are attending to me, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth! He has turned what I thought would be horrific experiences into the most pleasurable ones, I actually look forward to my dental appointments now! Thanks guys

Amazing dentists. The reception staff are so friendly, the dentists are amazing and take the time to make you feel comfortable. Always a smile and their face, and the care is second to none. The staff and the doctors are polite and professional.
The doctors examined me and gave all the possible options of treatment explaining each treatment option. Once I confirmed the treatment option they worked on my tooth in as much gentle way as possible and completed the treatment the same day.
