Services
Vitalise Psychology is a private practice that provides psychological services of the highest quality to individuals, couples, and families. Unconditional Positive Regard: We understands that unconditional positive regard is the simple acceptance and support of each client, and that this is essential in promoting client self-acceptance and personal growth.
All of our psychologists have post-graduate degrees of either a Masters or Doctorate level, and are therefore highly trained and capable clinicians. Our psychologists also have a variety of professional specialisations, which means we have the ability to address a range of client issues and concerns.
Anger is an emotion that is experienced in differing degrees by everyone. Anger can range from mild annoyance and frustration, to intense rage - which can lead to explosive outbursts. Anger can lead to a range of overt behaviours such as criticising, yelling, throwing objects, or hitting something.
Anxiety is a normal emotion and response that everyone experiences in certain life situations. When we are faced with a potentially dangerous situation, or intense periods of stress, anxiety is our body's way of telling us that something is not right. However, anxiety may become a significant problem if it starts to overwhelm us and interfere with your ability to do things in your everyday life.
Depression is a common mental health condition that affects approximately one million adults and 100,000 young people in Australia every year. On average, one in four females and one in six males are diagnosed with depression. We have all felt 'depressed' about an argument or falling out with a friend, misunderstandings in our relationships, stress or unhappiness about our job - and sometimes we feel 'down' for what seems like no reason at all.
