This place is easily accessible off the Manotick Main Street. Lots of street parking, or two parking lots nearby. Sam is my stylist and she takes the time to understand what it is you really want from your hair style. I don't go anywhere else, we book our entire family for cuts every month for 6-8 months on advance. Lots of choice for other hair care and skin care products, with helpful recommendations from Sam. I even did some Christmas shopping there.

Ashley did my hair for my wedding day. She gave me curls that lasted all day/night long, 12 hours with no touch ups! I've been going to Ashley for years to have colour/cuts and I'm always leaving there happy. Even when I just need a change in colour/style and I'm not sure what to do, I trust Ashley to work her magic and I've never been disappointed. She's truly amazing!

Whatever you do, don't let her put layers in your hair. OMG. my once beautiful hair has been razor hacked. It looks like a two year old chopped random chunks off everywhere. I went back to have her try to fix it, but it still looks awful. Now am going to make a an appointment somewhere else to hopefully make my hair look presentable - at least what is left of it.

I have been going to Ashley's Hair Design now for about two years, and having been to many different stylist through the years, I have never left feeling completely satisfied. Ashley is the exception to the rule. She is such a wonderful, talented stylist and I have never left her salon unsatisfied. By far, my experience at this salon is the most unprofessional service I have ever received. There was a mix up (on owner's part) with my appointment and she was unable to do my colour in the time she had allotted but rather than offer to fit me in, make it up by staying late or offer me her earliest possible appointment, she simply said "sorry, there is nothing I can do." As a first (and last) time customer, this response is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I have never written an online review before today but I am so appalled at the terrible customer service provided by this business
