Dr Walsh was very unhelpful. He spent the first session talking about his approach and minimal time was spent asking what I wanted to focus on, which should be the point of therapy. He asserted that my diagnosis wasn’t correct, despite my being on medications from my GP that actually help me, and that my emotions aren’t the problem but that my thoughts are. Every session following, he had me do a strange form of exposure therapy where I had to think about a sentence that elicited an emotional response in me. While I can see this working for people with very specific issues, I felt like desensitizing

Extremely experienced psychologist. He has helped me immensely. I recommend him for people with anxiety issues.
3 years on since my review was initially posted, i am still seeing him albeit less frequently now as I am doing much better. I really think he has helped me so much I wouldn't be where I am today if not for Frank. What prompted me to add to this review is the review by Sahiti below. I guess what I want to say is Franks method really works for me, I guess I am fortunate in the sense that I stuck with it and it worked well for me. I also want to add he only used the method Sahiti is referring

The receptionist was condescending and rude, and definitely lacking the people skills necessary to be the receptionist for a clinical psychologist.
