After completing his apprenticeship with Gary Blay at Blay Builders, Zack moved to Melbourne to extend his career in the construction industry. Working on large commercial projects, Zack gained valuable experience in all facets of the construction industry. Zack returned back to East Gippsland in 2011 to set up a building business with his brother Xavier.
From there they continued to grow and in 2014 were provided the opportunity to return and purchase the Blay Builders Brand together. Zack's role at Blay Builders is General Manager - Construction, overseeing each project from inception to completion. Zack manages all of the trades and suppliers. Blay Builders takes an approach to consultations differently, we begin by gathering information to understand you and your intentions for your build. If you give us a call or send us an email, after our initial conversation, our first step is for you to submit an online questionnaire.
This is a necessary part of our process as it allows us to get some of the most important questions answered, so we can establish what it is you wish to build and if it is a project that we can bring to life for you.Once we have established a solid connection and know that we are going to work collaboratively together, we will progress to meeting you on your block to complete a site visit.

Due to the projects we currently have underway and into the foreseeable future, there is an opportunity to work on some pretty amazing new homes. The Sales Staff were very patient and offered professional suggestions, always cognisant of our budget and the restrictions we had with the covenants of our estate. It took quite a length of time but they were thorough so that we didn't have a plethora of variations at the end. They guided us through each stage of the design and planning and sent us to flooring and cabinetry professionals.
As we are a custom builder - no two of our projects are ever the same, no site conditions are the same and clients will never be the same. Therefore the reality is, no set rate for a custom home can possibly be the same. A proper quote requires the builder to fully understand the plans, scope of work, site condition and time constraint.

We have just moved into our new Blay built home and we love it. We have never built before so had no idea what to expect but the team at Blays were so helpful, stepping us through every step. We had specific needs and Jeremy came up with a design that suits our needs perfectly. Everyone is extremely friendly and nothing was too much bother. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blays to anyone who wants to build a high quality home.

We couldn’t be happier with our new home. Right from the start Blay Builders understood what we needed as a family and this was reflected from the planning stage right through to completion.
The Blay team were knowledgeable, honest, easy to communicate with and expedient in replying to calls and emails. Nothing was ever a problem.

My partner and I just recently moved into our new house built by Blay Builders. It is everything and more than we expected and we really enjoy all aspects of our new home. The friendly staff in the office made our consultations and selection's a breeze, whilst the construction side built our great quality structured home. Nothing seemed to be an issue and if I were to build another house I definantly build with Blay Builders again. Would definantly recommend to any interested in building a new home.

We came to Blay Builders with an idea of a custom family home we wanted to build.
