Bucky Bistro Report

It doesn't matter if its winter or summer or even in between, the Bucky Bistro is a great place to enjoy a meal. If the sun is shining then you can sit back and soak up the rays on the back deck. If it's almost snowing outside then cosy up in a booth and enjoy meal with great company. Our friendly staff will ensure you have a great time.

Bucky Bar Report

With our new pool table and sound system you're sure to have a great night in the Bucky Bar. We have an open fire for those colder months and a large under cover deck area for some fresh air. Make sure to keep an eye on our Promotions & Events page to see what entertainment we have coming up. We enjoy gettting patrons involved and have a little fun, especially during the week.

Nothing beats getting away from it all for a weekend. The Buxton Hotel is the perfect place to spend the weekend relaxing and unwinding or what about that girls or boys weekend away you have all been dreaming of? Why not get a group of parents together for a kid free weekend! We can do up a great group package for you.

Promotions & Events Report

We are always trying to have a little something different for entertainment. We recently held a fundraiser for The Variety Club where we had cars from the Variety Club Bash and celebrity guest Spider Everitt. It was a great day and we hope to have them back next year. We have also held fundraising events to raise money towards the Bushfire Recovery.

One of the best meals and service I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful produce with lovely attentive staff. Would recommend for a drink or a meal! I had the local trout and my partner had the parmigiana, both were immaculate and generous servings. Thanks to all staff for making our first trip to Buxton unforgettable.

I have been to many pubs, and this was an unpleasant experience regarding hospitality. The lady who takes your meals is simply just plane rude. Shut the door on my husbands face whilst he was walking in carrying one of our children. Told me to control my kid, he touched the window while I was ordering (18 month old). If ur not a peoples person, best not to take peoples orders. So rude to me, my husband and mother, and I will never come back. We felt uncomfortable the whole time. If your not a local, your not welcome. Def won't recommend coming here unfortunately.

Had to call in and spend a few $.
I'm still haunted by loosing loved ones harendisly for no need, if only Back burning had taken some of the fuel of forest floors.
I enjoyed it there. Just to raw still.

Staff weren't very friendly. Poor selection of beers. Food was average at best. Food didn't sit well, with two of us feeling very ill after our meal. Wouldn't go back, I would rather go hungry.

Warm, friendly staff and yummy comfort pub food! We enjoyed the roast of the day and beef/vegetable pie. Well worth a visit if you’re heading out of Melbourne on a day trip.

It's a good little pub with average food. I'm not a fan of pub food but this is one of the better placees I've been to. The menu was good and had lots of options. My meal was average but the portion sizes were big.

Big group of 16 on a Sunday night. Service was excellent. Food was served quickly. All meals tasted delicious and were generous in size. Well done to all staff at Buckys Bistro!
