Services
The doors flew open in 1987 - and over 30 years later - "My how we've grown!". We now have six physiotherapists, a remedial massage therapist, a podiatrist and five support staff that would do an AFL club proud! Our excellent facilities include a fully equipped and staffed hydrotherapy pool, the perfect environment for rehabilitation following injury or surgical intervention.
Physiotherapy, a science based profession, uses movement of the human body to assess the well being of individuals. Physiotherapy offers relief of pain and stiffness by treating the joint, nerve or muscle through mobilisation, manipulation, massage, exercise and hydrotherapy. Physiotherapy may also aid in respiratory conditions.
Remedial massage is a modality based on physical assessment to determine the musculoskeletal causes of your condition or complaint. Treatment usually involves several techniques which may include: deep tisssue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, stretching, etc. The therapist will assess your soft tissue condition, and then treat the dysfunction that is the cause of the pain, injury or stress.
Telehealth uses video calling to put you in front of our highly experienced physiotherapists without you leaving the safety and comfort of your home or work spaces. With video conferencing, we can conduct an assessment and safely guide you through a series of tests to diagnose your condition or injury.
SRSPC's hydrotherapy pool provides an environment of warmth and weightlessness. This is ideal for promoting relaxation and ease of movement, and assisting in relieving pain, joint stiffness and muscle tightness. You do not need to be a swimmer to do hydrotherapy. Our pool has a shallow end and the head does not go underwater.

Only qualm was with the very rude older receptionist who greeted us on our first visit. Or rather didn’t greet us! We walked in the door and she just stared at us. Then she said “yes?” She proceeded to be very rude and grumpy. Not a great start! Made us feel extremely unwelcome!
Other receptionist I spoke to on phone couldn’t have been lovelier.
