Handi Restaurant is one of the reputed brand in Palmerston & Darwin as one & only Bangladeshi Restaurant & started providing service as a symbol of quality food & hospitality along great taste, healthy & freshness. Darwin local people are exceptionally crazy about the eating of curries & south Asian foods.
And a large portion of the curry eateries are living in the Palmerston region. Moreover, only few authentic restaurants are located in this area. In addition, there was no Bangladeshi Restaurant in active business at Darwin. That's why Handi Restaurant thought to promote the authentic Bangladeshi & Indian foods together & started to serve across the region.

Butter chicken
-goat rogan josh
-chicken fried rice
-fish cake (entree)
-pakora (entree)
-Naan
Bland and flavourless. Fish cakes are store bought. The rice is unpleasantly sweet in the absence of raisins or an obvious natural sweetener. The goat is tender, but lacking seasoning and the butter chicken is underwhelming to say the least. Naan is pleasantly seasoned but is quite doughy and thick. The Pakora is the best dish out of the lot.
The customer service upon delivery was amazing and takes this review from a 2 to a 3. I've read through alot of reviews and I'll edit this post if in store

Went and tried them for the first time 4 months ago. Now I'm sort of addicted to there food. Theres 3 dishes that are close to heart already haha goat do piaza. Lemon tandoori chicken and beef kala vuna. That's so far. I try different dishes every week and it's a must at least once a week if not twice. Thanks heaps for sharing these traditional meals. They are as tastey as they come! Thanks guys

Without a doubt, the food is delicious and makes up for the lackluster service when we dined in. The price is reasonable for the portion and taste. There is no toilet in the restaurant but a sink is available for customer's use.
The area is quiet at night and I wouldn't recommend to be there alone. There is a Bottlemart next door and there were a few drunks that were rowdy on that Saturday evening, attempting to kick the cars that were parked in the lot.
