Services
The Noojee Hotel was built in 1925 in the middle of the bush by owner and publican Sydney Wentworth Smith. It was an enormous building for a small town but one that catered for the growing timber industry providing accommodation, and for the consumption of beer. In 1926, a year after its establishment, and again in 1939, bushfires destroyed the town of Noojee.
Quaint self-contained 3-bedroom cottage set on a dairy farm providing accommodation for up to 5 people. Linen provided, all cooking equipment is available in the kitchen and a carport is at the door. It has a queen bed in the main bedroom, one single bed and room for a cot, modern bathroom and kitchenette.

Great Aussie pub. Prices are reasonable. Pizzas were great. Bowl of chips were crunchy! Great there’s a pool table for a game. Check out the merch; love the flannies. Although we didn’t have a booking, we got a table bc we arrived at 11.30am, would recommend booking if you want a balcony table. There seemed to be a lot of flies in the room, which was a bit of a dampener to the experience.

Walked in, there was no one on the bar. Then a lady was eating in the kitchen, saw us and she came, asked us if we have masks rudely.we said no. She was like you need to have masks on or she wouldn’t let us sit. Doesn’t make sense how people sitting on table next to us have no masks. Anyway we asked do you have a mask we’ll wear it. She was like yeah but you need to donate for the masks. The whole time she was talking to us she was absolutely the rudest person you could ever imagine. We didn’t have 2 dollars coins to donate in the jar she pointed to. So we ended up leaving. I think there’s

Great location and views. Food was quite good, Nooj burger very tasty. Staff were accommodating and friendly, however the lady waitress (with the tatts and shaved sides) serving us had a very red and obviously stuffy/congested nose and was constantly wiping her nose with her hand... Hopefully she washed her hands before handling our dishes. It was not a great look, especially during these covid times. Also, the caged cockatoo could have been located elsewhere, away from the live music and children. There was not a lot of space to avoid bumping into the cage when walking downstairs from the deck

Came in on a busy Wednesday after lunch time. Before I place my order I was told that food wait time is 50-60 minutes as the kitchen is very busy and I could look for another place to eat if I don’t want to wait for them but might be in the samw situation if ever I choose to go… so I said fine, 50-60 minutes waiting is fine. Ordered nachos, squid salad and pasta. Food were somewhat ok. Of the 3 that we ordered, nachos stand out to be the best. Hot, cheesy and tasty. Squid came in on 2nd. Generous sauce, cryspy calamay, and freshly looking salad. Pasta has a numbing taste if tomato sauce. Just

Honestly not sure why this pub gets such good reviews . The iconic nature yes . The gorgeous view from the deck yes . The genuine friendly country nature of the staff ? Possibly , although while some were genuine , some weren’t that interested. For the food and prices : big no . The Parma at $28 ! was very average indeed and the accompanying chips and veg .. flaccid and tasteless . Not in a hurry to eat there again sorry .

On our way to the cabin, we stopped in for a late dinner at the ever wonderful Noojee Pub. An icon in the area and has been around forever, this is a must visit when you're in the area.
The main dining area was having an 18th along with many, many other diners, so we chose to eat in the bar which had only a few people plus the open fire was lit due to the rare chilly November night.
The large pizza was enough for both of us and the staff were happy to alter it slightly to suit our particular tastes (Hawaiin pizza but no pineapple but add some mushrooms!). The menu is extensive with plenty
