Styled using large round brush for a smooth finish with natural body, heavy side part then slightly waved on ends with med round brush.

I have been growing my hair out during lockdown, and wanted to make sure my hair was cut confidently by an experienced hairdresser to give my hair a styled shape without losing hair length. I was recommended by a friend to book with HSM, and I was not disappointed. Ben was an absolute pleasure, both in his conversation and his skill. I walked out of the salon feeling confident and one step closer to reaching my hair length goal. I'll be booking him for my next haircut without hesitation.

Cindy took the time answering all my questions to understand what I was looking for, tested my hair to see what could be achieved (as I had a long history of different colours and damaged hair) and explained the full process and expectations to me.
Millie did an amazing job on my hair despite what she had to work with and I'm extremely delighted with the results. They even gave me aftercare advice. Definitely will make my regular hairdressers from now on and highly recommend! (And I'm very picky!!!)

The people themselves are friendly, and they make the photos look great, but after a full head of foils on long blonde hair a week later all my hair began to completely break off from below my regrowth and I am now left with thinning chemically burned off frizzy short hair. It now looks horrible and I am mortified. I have never experience this type of lapse judgment surrounding maintaining hair integrity which is beyond repair. My hair was in good condition when I went in.

This place was absolutely amazing! I came in with awful box dyed hair that was yellow and they fixed it up and the result that I left with was so perfect. Everyone is very friendly and they all make you super comfortable throughout your time there. My experience was perfect and I will be going back there again, I highly recommend this place!

Tony is the best hair stylist I’ve had! He helped me with a bad haircut I had received elsewhere when I first came to Melbourne. I have quite short hair, and it’s difficult to find a stylist who can cut it the way I like, but Tony has gotten it perfect every time. Nick the colorist is also very talented. He, too, has my full trust. Everyone at Hairroom is incredibly kind and helpful. Highly, highly recommend!
