The Sir Francis Drake Inn is conveniently situated on the Pacific Highway, Heatherbrae, NSW. Cross streets are Hank Street & Pacific Highway. Situated only 15-20 mins to Newcastle Airport at Williamtown. Just 25 mins north of Newcastle, and within 2 hours drive north of Sydney, just off the F3/M1. About 2 1/2 hours south of Port Macquarie & just short of 2 hours south of Forster / Tuncurry.

We stayed in a big room with Spa, room 27, with 6 beds and twin room. This room was family room. Very good room indeed. Excellent parking as well, just at our room. Clean swimming pool. Location is also great. Quality of toiletries etc was good too.
Shower in Room 27 was hopeless. We also moved one small bed and found one dead cockroach under it. When we started Spa, all grass like small dust came out, so I had to spend 20 minutes again to fill up clean water.
