Beaumaris Physiotherapy Centre
Andrew has been the principal Physio and owner at the Beaumaris Physiotherapy Centre since 2008. He commenced his career in 2001 starting his work in hospitals around the Mornington Peninsula, dealing with acute, chronic and rehabilitation clients. In addition to the public system Andrew also worked in private practice and this is where his passion lies.

He has worked across several clinics and football clubs around the south eastern suburbs and the Mornington Peninsula. He has a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of cervicogenic headache and spinal issues, resulting in helping clients regain full function from ailments and maximizing their zest for life by facilitating their return to doing the things they love.

Our physiotherapists can help you recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, and increase mobility. We can also help you prevent further injury by listening to your needs and use our decades of experience to provide a tailor made solution for you.
Pilates needs to be specific to the individual to be beneficial for patients with certain injuries, and not used as a generic tool for everyone. Clinical Pilates, which differs from generic Pilates classes, identifies key issues by applying carefully selected exercises to patients with specific injuries to optimise gains whilst significantly reducing the likelihood of injury aggravation.
Exercising during pregnancy has been proven to help prevent GDM, control weight gain, reduce blood pressure problems as well as improve mood and sleep. The Australian physical activity guidelines recommend 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise every week and should incorporate some strength training.
