Service is top notch but food is horrible and not even close to Indian cuisine, this was the first time we have been there but disappointed wont be returning, would recommend for the excellent service they have but not for the food taste, Entree were equally bad apart from the chicken. I understand this being a western country you guys have to adapt to the same, but this is not what Indian food can taste even after some adaptations.

Had an slightly racist experience at this restaurant. I ordered my food for pickup from uber eats and when I reached restaurant to pickup my food woman at the reception tells me she can't give me my food without the uber eats bag (assuming me being a brown guy was a delivery driver).I had to explain it to her that it was my order.Very disrespectful behaviour hope they teach their staff how to deal with people irrespective of their colour.

Very bad experience…, what a waste of time and money it was. Ordered butter chicken for our child as it is his favourite meal and he refused to eat and said it even doesn’t taste like butter chicken and taste more like pizza sauce and ordered another medium curry and came up mild again with blend flavour of Madras curry. Entre ordered was good, good service, clean but curries in main course were not expected. Went to Punjab restaurant to check out food but what a waste of time and won’t be going back again.

Staff were amazing, polite, very well presented, very professional with all interactions with our table from filling the water right through to us asking for two spoons they arrived on their own little plate not just dumped on the table as they walked past, I/we felt really looked after. The really tall girl helped us she was awesome however all staff impressed us. We will return......

I am not an expert in Indian cuisine, but this place has good food, and good portion too! Good prices! Didn't have the chance to take a photo of the main menu, I suggest the owner to upload the menu here on google page. Plenty of selection!
The service is superb, from the start to the end!
My only complaint is the bottle of Voss water: $8!!!!!!!!
Next time I'll go for the tap😅

Our go to indian restaurant for takeaway! Have dined in numerous times too and always had a great experience. We usually order the potato dumpling curry- its delicious and pairs perfectly with garlic nann. we also order a hot curry chicken madras curry is a winner and pairs well with the sweet pershwari nann. The samosas are fresh and big and tasty!!! You can now order online which is super handy and can nab yourself 10% off.

I recently returned to Punjab with a group of friends for an organised dinner. I hadn't been blown away by Punjab the last time I went there so I had been reluctant to return given the Indian Restaurant choices in this area.
Punjab does have an extensive menu I do think though they could do with adding a meat biryani or vegetarian tasting plate. Two of my favorite things to order when I go out for Indian.
On my recent return we ordered papadums to start (I still can't work out why these are not an included item at Indian restaurants given they are as cheap as chips and I rarely pay

My all time favourite Indian restaurant in Australia! I know, it's a big call, but they really are the best. I'm a regular here and they know me by name, plus my order! Mixed vegetable curry (extra spicy), pulao rice and dhal Punjabi. If you can't handle the heat you can ask for extra mild. If you can handle the chilli then I suggest extra spicy! Great place to dine for vegans as many of the dishes can be veganised to suit. Omni's love it here too.
If you are dining in, it's best to reserve a table ahead of time. Take-out is very popular and majority of their customers

Not often let down by Yelpers but tonight a rare occasion. Post Movie dinner , heard good things about Punjab so thought we'd give it a go.
If you want great service and white linen in an Indian the Royal India is better. If you want better food then Chutney Mary. Atmosphere Chik n Kent.
Dry tandoori Chicken. Watery fish curry. Ok wine list and the service was good.
But plenty better.

I just have to give this restaurant five stars. Hubby and I discovered that we'd forgotten our anniversary (as you do) so we thought we should go out to dinner at the last minute.
I googled which Indian restaurants were vegan-friendly and saw that Punjab lists which items on the menu are or can be made vegan. Yay, I don't have to feel like a freak!
We walked into the restaurant, and this was no paper napkin affair, this is properly trained waiters and waitresses who pull out your chair for you and have (watch out) cloth napkins. This is a classy Indian.
We thought that for what you

Yesssss! If ever you're in the vicinity of Innaloo and you're feeling like you'd like to spice up your life a little, I'd suggest you head to Punjab. We concur with other positive Yelper reviews, except maybe the issue of the price. I've just finished eating with two others. We purchased take away butter chook, dahl makhani and palak paneer, with a side of pilau rice. It cost $17 per head and there is enough for another light meal for each tomorrow. I'd suggest that is above average value, esp by Perth standards. I will definitely return. Note: if you'd prefer

One of the best indians in Perth? A bit overpriced but if you count the great customer service and quality of the food is well worth it! Same applies for takeaway.
The best garlic naan ever! I am not huge on vegetarian but the Matter Paneer dish almost converted me, was delicious! And of course the Saag lamb (curry sauce with spinach) is always a favorite. I believe they've got a proper charcoal tandoor oven/bbq so any dish with tandoori chicken is a winner!
Warning: If you order hot spicy be ready!

Indian has to be one of my favourite foreign countries food. I have a deep love for vegetable curry, with some garlic nam and mango chukney. I had the most delicious vegetable madras of my life. Ok that might be a bit of an over statement but it was most certainly up there.
The food is a pretty decent and the restaurant itself was really nice, has a really good vibe. The staff were friendly. It was a really pleasant evening, think I will defiantly be heading back there.

Punjab is the gold class of Indian of Perth I was introduced to it when I was completely monogamous to my local Indian joint... and I'm glad my taste buds strayed. The take away is absolutely glorious for the palate. Mains range from $14-$21. I'm usually not completely enthused by the idea of fish dishes but the fish goan curry will change your life. The flavours melt in your mouth and I am currently on the verge of dribbling on the keyboard when I just ate lunch. It really is no wonder why this is the winner of the golden plate awards three times. I would recommend this a thousand times

There's a reason why Pubjab is the winner of two gold plate awards and named best Indian restaurant: is the elegant decor, sophisticated ambience, authentic meals or attentive service; well lets just say it's a lot of everything and lacks nothing. I could of made a meal out of the mint chutney it was that good! Pubjab is renowned for the finest Indian cuisine, who needs to travel when you have Indian at it's excellence right here in Scarborough.
