As far back as I can remember Double Bay has been a focal point of my life. My father Nikolas Scarpa was one of the leading hair stylists in Sydney. I spent many hours at his Double Bay Salon growing up and seeing his passion and love for his profession inspired me to join what is a long tradition of fashion and hair styling in the Scarpa family.
The Scarpa family has been on the top of the hairdressing fashion for three generations, my grandfather Micheal Scarpa began this long tradition when back in the 1940's in Italy & paris he was winning various international awards when hair and up dos's were extravagant works of art and striving for elegance and sophistication was a daily practice.
With over 25 years of experience, my love and passion for hairdressing has only continued to grow. Over the years I have put all my energy into becoming a leading stylist, continuing the third generation of Scarpa hair professionals. From recently working in our Scarpa Hair Milan salon, I decided to open what is one of Sydney's most beautiful, fun, modern and relaxing salons.
Helen has been managing salons in Sydney for over 35 years. During her career she has had been fortunate to work with many high net worth individuals, local and overseas clientele. Helens professional attitude makes it very clear she has a passion and dedication to the industry seldom seen today. Helens personal approach is always considerate, with the wellbeing of clients a priority while providing the best in salon services.

Luana is a life saver. I originally walked in fir advice on how to do something about a disastrous haircut I received from elsewhere. Luana provided me advice on what I would need to do if I wanted to cut my hair but gave the alternative of extensions and I am so happy that I made the choice. They squeezed me in , it was quick and efficient and the care advice was thorough and helpful. I will be back Thank you

Helena and Max are so friendly. I got an amazing scalp massage and hydrating treatment, and also a cup of tea. Max listened to what I wanted and gave me a perfect cut. They use premium products that smell so good! The salon is in a lovely location, and it’s personal and not too noisy. I’d highly recommend them.

Had such a great experience getting my hair done at Scarpa! All staff members were very friendly and welcoming - I felt very comfortable and looked after during my visit. I had my hair done by the lovely Luana who was very professional and made my hair look exactly the way I wanted it to look. I left the salon feeling fresh and glowing and I'm excited for my next visit - highly recommend!

Luana always does such a great job with both the colour and the cut. I have been having my hair cut and coloured by Luana and I always reallg happy. The colour always suits my skin tone and the cut is always very stylish and keeps the style very well as ugly grows. The salon has such a friendly atmosphere and they all really look after customers. Everyone is so so lovely and laid back.
Luana is absolutely amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She does such a beautiful job and makes you feel so good! Her head massages when she washes your hair are amazing. I get tape hair extensions and tints done by her and everywhere I go people complement my hair!! I couldn’t recommend her more, she is the best!

I was booked in at Scarpa to have a style done in my hair for a wedding I was attending. The service was amazing. My hair stylist gave me some great tips on how to care for my hair and improve volume. I showed her some images that I was thinking to have done and she was honest about what styles would suit me. One of the ladies offered sparkling wine and chips to celebrate that there was a wedding on. I was really happy with the style I left with and the care the stylist took to get it perfect! Thank you for an amazing experience .
