Providing gentle and caring dental services for Ferntree Gully and the surrounding Melbourne Eastern suburbs, Glenfern Dental has been servicing the local community since 1992. Our dental services also extend to patients in Boronia, Lysterfield, Rowville, Upwey, Wantirna, Bayswater, Belgrave, Tecoma and we even have many long-term patients who visit us for their regular dental checkup from much further away.
A dental check up and clean every 6-12 months is essential to maintain healthy teeth and gums. We place a strong emphasis on disease prevention, and will provide you with personalised advice to help you look after your teeth. This may include recommendations for cleaning devices, eating habits, medicated toothpastes or mouthwashes.
Dental radiographs, or x-rays, allow us to see inside a tooth and beneath the gums to assess the health of the bone and supporting tissues that hold teeth in place. Routine dental x-rays help us diagnose any early stages of disease that may not be possible to detect through visual examination alone.

I've been seeing Jane Tillack at Glenfern Dental for over 10 years, and she is absolutely brilliant. She provides a high quality service, a great standard of care, reasonable prices, and unlike some other dentists will only recommend medically necessary treatment, including for kids. The dental nurses are also fantastic, and the admin/reception staff are always delightful to interact with.
Like all good medical professionals, the staff here always give patients the time that they need. As a result, be aware that you'll usually have to wait a little while to be seen. Just know that the quality
