Services
The moment you enter, our friendly staff will welcome you and ask you to fill out some paperwork, unless you completed it at home (see below). After completing your history form, you'll meet our chiropractor. As part of your initial consultation, the chiropractor will perform a thorough chiropractic examination, postural analysis and, if needed, will take x-rays to determine how we can best care for you.
Chiropractors use a specific type of manipulation called an adjustment to improve many health problems that are related to our skeletal and muscular systems. Spinal conditions like lower back or neck pain, conditions of other areas such as the knees and shoulders, as well as other health problems such as headaches and period pain, may be helped by chiropractic treatment.
What qualifications does Dr Sorensen have? Dr Sorensen (Chiropractor) graduated in 2000 from RMIT University in Melbourne. He completed a 5 year full-time double degree course: a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science. Before opening Flinders Park Family Chiropractic, he worked overseas in Denmark, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
We opened this practice 12 years ago, to support people in the Western suburbs and the Adelaide metropolitan area. We want to provide the most efficient services to our patients, which is why we are open 6 days (including Saturdays) and offer after hours appointments and x-rays on site. A private billing practice, bulk billing is available to patients with a GP or DVA referral.
