My name is Susan and I have been assisting people with a numerous of problems for the past 10 years. I entered into the counselling field because of my own problems and wanting to overcome challenges to improve my life. Whilst studying through the 'Australian Institute of Professional Counsellor' I was introduced to many inspiring theorists who originated their own counselling theory and practice from their own life and or work experiences.
Each theory is designed to provide students with a thorough grounding in the historical, philosophical, and theoretical base of major schools of counselling and psychotherapy, including Bowen therapy, solution-focused therapy, humanistic-existential therapy, behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, relaxation therapy, family therapy, child development and effective parent, grief and loss and couple therapy, and many more.
