Thorneside is an old bayside suburb that suits people who enjoy walking, bird watching and refreshing Bay breezes. Numerous walkways and cycling paths wind through this leafy suburb leading you to the edge of Waterloo Bay, where migratory shorebirds abound. Continue along the shoreline and you will discover Beth Boyd Park.
No, breakfast is not included in the price. It is an additional charge of $10.00 - $15.00/person/breakfast, depending on your choice of inclusions in the breakfast basket left in the apartment. However, it is well-equipped for self-catering. A variety of teas, coffee, sugar, some milk are provided - as well as a treat or two along the way.
Chris is originally from South Africa and Trish from Australia. They have travelled extensively both overseas and within Australia, incorporating their experiences into the bed and breakfast. Chris and Trish are now both retired and enjoy the tranquillity of the bay at Thorneside, whilst running The Friendly Chat B&B.
