We decided to upgrade our solar system from 2.2 kw to 6.6 and started asking for quotes. They ranged from $12700 to about $3900, with most of the quotes coming in through phone calls back to me from foreign lands!!!
Having had the experience previously of buying from a non local company where they declared themselves bankrupt 9 months later… completely nulifying the warranties - before the same people started up again under a different name - we asked a local company , Harelec, to give us their quote.
Theirs was very much among the lower priced quotes, with the added advantage they have

From our first initial meeting with Jamie explaining the whole system setup, the product/panels and how beneficial it would be for us as we have ducted air conditioning and a heated in-ground pool. We felt extremely safe with his professionalism on the product/s and knowledge with the whole setup. Very happy with the installation gentleman’s They explained everything, they were clean, tidy and finished the job 100% to our satisfaction. A mention is needed for Proma in the office on her endless hard work, excellent communication and friendly attitude from start to finish on everything.

Moving to solar was on my mind for many years. Once I took the first step, the process was stressful and time consuming. I contacted others, even signed up for the 'biggest' as sold by Cricket celebrities, I was very disheartened and felt very abandoned afterwards and cancelled the contract while I could still get my deposit back. Then a local recommended Haralec, I've seen it many times around town, driven past their shop and when I looked into them and spoke to them I know it was right. It felt right.

Highly recommend. These guys were fantastic from the very first phone call I made. Price was competitive, they gave me a range of different options to choose from, and the office staff and installers were all super professional and obviously take a lot of pride in what they do. Harelec installed solar into 3 of my properties and one family members. awesome work . efficient . local and extremely knowledgeable. wouldn't of chosen anyone else ! they even bent over backwards to resolve a shade issue on one of the sites .. great job harelec
