What started as a a small dream has grown in clientele and staff to a thriving sixteen-section salon. The team and I love creating in the salon, however we have a real passion for our photo shoots too, we use these as a great way to be a step ahead and energise our clients with placing imagery around the salon and on our marketing, why not ask about what we have planned next on your next appointment?
I'm Amy, the founder of Urban Chic, I have more than 20 years of hairdressing experience under my belt and I am now honoured to be a part of the Wella Professional Creative Artist Team. I've been lucky enough to travel around the globe and be involved in numerous fashion weeks, working with amazing stylists and designers.

Worst place I’ve ever been. the ladies are very snobby and not very good at listening to what I wanted. My hair was all sorts of different colours and not what I asked for at all! Was so expensive and I regret spending my money here.
My friend also told me her experience was the same and the older staff were rude to the younger employees.

Mid last year I booked an appointment with Carla at Urban Chic. It was the first time I had been to the salon.
Prior to the appointment I was quoted $80.00 for a Shampoo, Cut, Bdry (long) and a $116.50 for a 1/2 Head Foils (long). Total: $196.50.
During the consultation I showed the service provider a picture of the hair colour and technique I was hoping to achieve. I stipulated that the colours I wanted were honey, caramel and chocolate tones.
It was agreed that some colour would be added to create a balayage effect. I knew this would be an extra cost, but at the time it wasn't explain to me

Just had a wonderful experience at Urban Chic with my fantastic Stylist Yianni! First time visiting the salon and I’m very impressed.
