Her vision for accessible and affordable veterinary care has resulted in the formation of North Coast Veterinary Services. Working in Mixed Practice, Lauren has seen everything from cows with mastitis to guinea fowl with gizzard worms. She has gained a broad range of experience having worked across Australia from Katherine to the Torres Strait, Rockhampton to Broken Hill.
North Coast Veterinary Services have now installed a new human grade CT scanner. This service allows more effective diagnosis of cancer and other serious conditions. CT scans can be performed in less than 20 seconds minimising the time patients are under sedation. Results are interpreted by specialist Veterinary radiologists and sent directly to your regular veterinarian.
We also use it for osteoarthritis as it provides a deep heat therapy. The pain relieving and healing properties make it very effective when treating Osteoarthritis, injured tendons, injured ligaments, injured muscles, minor wounds, chronic wounds, and all post-operation cases. It's a very non-invasive cost-effective type of treatment.

We took our little 16 year old mini foxy for a teeth clean. We were a bit hesitant because of her age, but Lauren talked us through the risks, pros and cons of getting it done. Coco came out with teeth cleaner than any other vet has done and recovered back to her self quicker! She had a lump removed from her eye and 2 teeth removed. Nails clipped and ears cleaned! From the moment you walk in, Lauren and the team put you at ease, they are kind and caring and understand that our pets are not just animals, they are our family. Thank you so much❤

I had heard of Laurens reputation as a caring and professional vet from others and when our Lab Audrey recently had a form of paralysis from a motor neuron issue I experienced it first hand. After being up all night with a horse with colic and finding me panicking on her doorstep her dedication and love for her patients (and their worried owners) really made a difference for both of us! Lauren provides a beautiful and caring environment which, coupled with her expertise and professionalism helped and supported Sasha and myself over the months of gently supported palliative care. This included back-of-car consultations, often to a very wet furry dog!

Lauren is a wonderful and caring vet. I called at 06.15 not expecting anyone to pick up! We had made the heartbreaking decision to let our boy go after a very uncomfortable night for him. Lauren told us to meet her their at 07.30. She explained what would happen, what to possibly expect. He passed in our arm's calmly and peacefully. She arranged his cremation and advised on how to help our other little pup cope with his passing. I would and have recommend Lauren to everyone! A very caring and professional surgery.

Lauren and her team at NCVS are the most wonderful carer of all creatures. I couldn't speak more highly of this clinic and always felt like I was in the best hands when getting advice on my two fur babies. Sadly I had to put them both to sleep recently, and both Lauren and Tashi really helped take the sting out of such a sad experience.
