Services
We strive to deliver a high standard of care to all patients, at all times. We commit to making a difference in the lives of our pets, our clients and ourselves, by upskilling ourselves in areas of our industry, and educating others around us. By being the patient advocate, we become their voice. By focusing on what an animal needs, we are not led astray, and remain true to our goal.
For almost thirty years I have relied on the Vets, Nurses and support staff to keep me informed, solve routine and infrequent problems that have arisen with my animals, and consistently provide professional services at a very high level whilst maintaining competitive pricing. Since 2017, the vets and nurses have volunteered their time to assist with a competition activity held to showcase almost 100 cats and kittens in the Tweed each year.
King Street Veterinary Hospital offers a wide range of professional services for your pet. We are there to help you all the way from advice, training and care for your pets to more specialized veterinary care. We aim to provide your pet the care they need in a calm and safe environment. Our staff are here to help you make informed decisions regarding your beloved pets health preventions and treatments.

Hi Everyone, I have had the pleasure of coming to a great place to work for over 20 years now. Animals have always been a huge part of my life so becoming a vet was a natural choice for me. Hi, I am Tracey, and I will most likely be the first person you will see when you walk into. Hi, my name is Necia and once upon a time I worked for King Street Veterinary Hospital for 5 years.

I am not a happy customer.
The medicine given to us last week by this vet for my dogs ear was called easotic. That product can be bought anywhere retail on line with a script for $32. Being a vet they would buy it cheaper than that. We were charged $81 for the same product.
Why would a vet think they are entitled to mark up medicine by 170% . That is robbing your unsuspecting patients. But here is the best....if you want to buy anything on line you need a script so they charge you $25. That is after you pay a consultation fee based on $400 an hour.
They take advantage of our love for our animals

I love King St vets. All staff receptionist, vet nurses and vets are amazing! Not only do they treat your pets with love respect and compassion, they are also the only vets in town who take in injured and sick wildlife for assessment and treatment. True animal lovers.

I have been taking my numerous pets here for around 13 years now. They are trustworthy, compassionate and always respect the decisions I make as a pet owner, and sometimes those decisions are really hard to make. Definitely the best vet in the area.

Dr Ben euthanised our 19 year old Birman at our home yesterday. We couldn't have wished for a kinder, more compassionate service. We were a mess emotionally and Dr Ben did everything humanly possible to make the experience comfortable and dignified for our beloved pet, family member and friend.

Would just like to say a massive thank you to the staff and vets at King Street. They are so genuine, wonderful and helpful. They cared for our dog for the past 12 years who we recently lost. The team were so loving and caring throughout the whole process and very kind and compassionate at the end of a devastating time as they understand they arent just pets, they are a part of the family. Couldnt recommend any place better to get the best care for your fur babies

King St vets are good. If your rabbit gets sick take him or her to see Dr Ben in Murwillumbah.
