Peterson's Pest control was established by Ray and Hilda Peterson in 1960. Working from home, they built a substantial client base around the inner and Northern suburbs. As the client's families grew, so did the company. In 1987, Ray and Hilda retired selling the company to their son in law and daughter, Noel and Sue Boshler who own the company to this day.
In 2001, their son Daryl entered the company, the 3rd generation of the family to work as a technician. On the retirement of Noel in 2007, Daryl stepped into the role of Managing Director supported by Noel and Sue now in the background. The client base has continued to expand and our (4) fully qualified technicians work hard meet the demands.

Whether you are selling your home, buying a new home or simply want some peace of mind regarding the continued good health of your existing home, a pest inspection is vital. In either case, you need to know the level of insect activity both inside your home and on the grounds. The pest inspector will not only inform you of the insect situation but will suggest ways to manage any problems they may discover.
Of all insect pests, termites hold the number one ranking as the most potentially destructive. Queensland wide, the annual cost of termite attacks runs into the tens of millions. One in ten homes in Queensland will have one form of termite attack this year. Regardless of your home's construction, all houses are vulnerable to termite infestation.
Cockroaches are born survivors and carry disease, which effect humans. The best defence against cockroaches infestation is good hygiene and regular treatments. Good hygiene means that there will be little or no food available which puts the insects at an immediate disadvantage. Domestic treatments carried out by Petersons Pest Control use environmentally friendly chemicals which are safe to adults, children and pets.
Treat your pets as soon as you can. You will get better results if all flea treatments - environmental and animal - are done about the same time. DO NOT AVOID FLEA AREAS AFTER TREATMENT - (especially the spare room and shed) stimulate fleas to hatch out of the pupae. If you remove the pet the flea problems may appear to be worse - as you have become the only potential host.
Cockroaches, silverfish, spiders, fleas, ants, carpet beetles and clothes moths - the mention of any of these pests is enough to cause concern to the homeowner. No-one likes to think that their home is providing a safe harbourage to insect pests. Fortunately, there are several things the homeowner can do to prevent this sometimes unpleasant situation.
