Vaccinations provide protection from preventable and life-threatening diseases. Dogs are vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, & Parvovirus, commonly called a C3 injection. As well as Bordetella and Parainfluenza (Kennel Cough), this is added to make a C5 injection. Your puppy should receive a vaccination at 6-8 weeks, 10-12 weeks and 14-16 weeks of age.
How to choose the right Tick & Flea protection for your pet is one of the most common questions we get. With lots of different products on the market it can be very confusing so we've pulled together a quick tips sheet to help you get started. On the recommendation of colleague at Forestville RSL sub-Branch I took Maximus in for his annual check & vaccinations with Dr Emily Ambrose. Unlike previous local and not so local Vet's I have previously the service very reasonable (nearly half!) there was no big "Up selling" thorough checkup. I highly recommend Belrose Veterinary Hospital and will now be using them exclusively for best friend.

Dr Lisa Shaw is incredible. My puppy had jaw problems and I was recommended by a vet to be reviewed by Lisa. Misha (my puppy) had dental surgery and it was heading in the direction of a second surgery. This was when I was referred to Lisa. I trusted her care and knowledge so much that I happily travelled 90minutes every 1-2 weeks (no charge for the quick check ups and very reasonable consultations) to see how my puppies jaw was developing for almost 2 months. She took the time to explain what was going on with her jaw and also emailed me information such as exercises to prevent surgery. In the

I will not use this vet again. Unsure of the reason why my dog had a swollen paw, doggie was sent home after a cursory examination, and told to return 3 days later if no improvement. Oh and that will be $77.00 thank you....
Took my dog to a new local vet and within minutes he diagnosed three areas of concern, prescribed medication and discussed a long term health plan for my dog.

I have been taking both my dogs to Dr John for 2 years now & I recommend his clinic whenever an opportunity presents itself (like now!).
Each & every visit has involved skilled, professional treatment along with a deep sense of caring & interest in all aspects of the animal's life & circumstances.
The rates he charges are always very fair, but I would pay more just to have the level of care he provides.
Dr John & his staff are always willing to assist, even at short notice. In my own experience he has gone above & beyond his duty, going out of his way to care for both of my 4 legged girls.

The Clinic has recently changed hands (mid 2013 ?).
We've made a few visits for a variety of reasons - some very sad on loss of a pet, and others for the new puppy.
All experiences have been great - John has been compassionate, considerate and understanding about loss of one pet, and very engaging and helpful for visits with the new puppy. And charges are very reasonable compared to some other local vets.
We'll continue to return.
