Both of my labs, Mabel and Lily required emergency treatment at Nevs in the past month. I will be forever grateful for the care they received to save their lives. Dr Yvonne and Dr Liz worked on both my dogs… (amongst many other amazing vets and nurses) in their stay. I was always updated and kept informed. How amazing to have this 24/7 service when needed. Thank you Nevs!

Josh and the team were caring and highly professional with the emergency care and eventual passing of our cat today. They were gentle and empathetic giving us all the information to make the best choices for our baby girl's health crisis and supported us through her passing. We're lucky to have had their care through this tough time.

We brought our dog in at 10pm on New Years Day as she was having trouble breathing. She stayed 2 nights then came back a couple of days later for more scans. This was my first experience of any sort of pet emergency and I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff. She was ultimately diagnosed with congestive heart failure and provided ongoing medication.
Tom managed her the first night, he provided constant information and was very professional in communicating the critical condition she was in that first night. I have no doubt his actions that night likely saved her.

My cat had chronic issues and my vet recommended that we transfer her to NEVS overnight for minitoring. The nurse on duty called me telling me that my cat had arrived and was in a very bad way and could die overnight. I told them that I was aware and we were giving her a chance to ride this through and see if she would improve the next day. She said "you know her figures are really bad right so they are not going to come down no matter how long you wait?" Then said to me I could just come and get her and I would not have to pay the $350 overnight fee. I told her my vet transferred her to them for

We had an excellent experience with Northside Emergency this evening. We took our dog in for assistance with a tick removal. They were prompt, caring and extremely helpful in a stressful time for us. Special thanks to Alex on the phone, and Kayley for patiently explaining our next steps with such thoroughness.

After being hit by a car our dog Bella had some horrific injuries and needed major surgery - it was one of the most traumatic times of our lives.
Every single one of the team from reception, nurses, vets and… surgeons were the most compassionate and caring as if they were caring for their own.
Our daily updates with pictures definitely kept our minds at ease. We cannot thank you enough x

I would give 10 stars if there were an option. These guys have seriously difficult jobs and I was beyond impressed with the service I received. The excellent vet responsible for my pet was Aleisha (not sure on spelling), of whom was kind, clear and clearly very qualified. I would also like to thank the entire team of who I seriously could not fault.
I highly recommend Northside Emergency Veterinary Service.

I can highly recommend NEVS after they looked after our beloved family dog, Kiki. She had emergency surgery after being attacked by other dogs. And then several infections from the bite punctures. Kiki spent… several weeks in and out of the hospital and every time she went back, the Vets kept me informed daily with phone calls as well as photos. Both Kiki and I were supported and made to feel extremely special which is very important when going through such a traumatic experience.

Quite a few negative reviews here so might as well add mine. Would never go back to this place if I didn’t absolutely have to. The vet we dealt with was cold and showed zero compassion. She did not listen. She incorrectly diagnosed and prescribed unnecessary medication. My cat had a clear vestibular episode and there was absolutely no mention of… this disease whatsoever at this vet. She prescribed medication for a stroke, to thin the blood. Was also treated as if I was some kind of diseased alien due to covid, which was in no way how I was treated when I then followed up with my vet

My little pug required delicate surgery to remove her gall bladder recently. We were extremely nervous as we knew the condition she had posed a risk to her life. Eugene and the team were BRILLIANT to say the… least. She was home in 2 days after major surgery, feeling bright and happy. She recovered so quickly and is back to normal after only 3 weeks. I can't thank you enough for taking such good care of my baby. Thank you to everyone at NEVS from our entire family.

They take the time to listen to the problem and keep In regular contact to report on your pets progress. Such a comfort to know they are there for when our usual fabulous vets are closed.
