About Patiala Report

Patiala state was established in 1763 by Baba Ala Singh, a Jat Sikh chieftain, who laid the foundation of the Patiala fort known as Qila Mubarak, around 'which the present city of Patiala is built. After the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761 in which the Marathas were defeated by the Afghans, the writ of the Afghans prevailed throughout Punjab.

I would only recommend Patiala House as the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. The food is so authentic that it reminds me of India and the food I should to go out and eat in my childhood.
The owner is amazing and the staff is so polite too.

AmaZing customer service! First time trying here and the owners, workers are all so nice. Quick turn around for pick up (20 minutes) spices are on point, we had so much left over and eating it for lunch.
Nann bread was perfect and my kids love the samosas ! We ordered the family meal of 4.

This is my favourite place to eat real, wholesome Indian food whenenver i visit melbourne.
They cater for everyone in their spice levels.
Food is authentic and the service is extremely hospitable.

We love this place! We order take away so often now. The food is value for money, and in this area, the best Indian by Far! The dishes have lots of meat and ingredients. It's not just sauce like other places. Thumbs up from us! 👍

Brilliant food! Piping hot and beautifully cooked. Most dishes are of a very good standard but the yellow dahl is sensational! Try the goat on the bone and the lamb and chicken dishes too. My personal favourite is the Amritsari fish, closely followed by the Goan fish curry.

We drive 35 minutes to get here, and it’s totally worth it! The food is amazing and really tasty, we try different dishes each time and are always happy.
Staff always so polite and friendly and recognise us each time we go in. We will always come back here when we want authentic Indian food, we love it! I’m English and my partner is Mauritian so we are picky with our curries, but this place never disappoints us 😊

Patiala House is one of my favourite restaurants to go too! Not only do you eat their delicious food with bursting flavours, but you also receive delightful service! Have been plenty of times, and not once have they left me unsatisfied! I certainly recommend this to anyone looking for top quality Indian food!
