We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, celebrate and share not only getting ready for our wedding day but a long weekend with our family and friends. We will be back with our entourage for our 1st Wedding Anniversary and the Bay Village has become our favourite place to stay in the southwest!
Travelling from Perth: Take the Kwinana Freeway and head for Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River. On approach to the Dunsborough town centre (the golf course is on your left), turn right at the roundabout (Seymour Boulevard), travel approximately 50 meters to the next roundabout and turn right again, then to the T-junction and right again (another roundabout) which is Dunn Bay Rd.

We used a one bedroom spa room so have only rated 3 stars at the moment as we didn't use a lot of the facility. Apparently there's an indoor pool we didn't have time to use on this quick trip so felt 3 stars is a good start before we get to see the rest of the village on another visit.
Would happily stay here again, room was serviced every day, staff were friendly when we dropped our key off to check out and the after hours check in service was extremely user friendly, we had no issue picking up our key late.
Also very conveniently located in centre of town!

The room was nice-ish, wasn’t exactly the cleanest of rooms though. The shower temperature never seemed to stay at the temp we wanted it, if you’re looking for a quiet area this place probably isn’t the one as there was always yelling and banging happening.
We booked it through a booking site and despite booking it that way you would think the resort themselves could still help us out with things but no, we accidentally left an item in one of their apartments and when we emailed to see about getting it back but we were turned away and told to message the site we booked with. I understand

Average/poor accommodation. Clean but very old and dated. Quite a dismal and depressing feel about it, it need of a refresh and brightening up.
A raggy old blanket was used as part of the bedding in the master bedroom. We also found old drink bottles down the side of the bed, which made me wonder if the bedding had been changed atall.
Washing machine was not working, they did get onto looking into that issue, not sure if it was fixed or not.
Pool area also dated and old.
Overall probably wouldn’t stay there again. Very overpriced too.

Way over priced. Their COVID cancellation policy needs to be revisited. I booked a cottage for three nights in April 2021, ended up staying one night because of COVID lockdown and had to return to Perth. Instead of giving me two nights credit they gave me one. Could be because I checked out at 11.30am instead of 10am. Okay fair enough, but still they owe me 285 dollars, one night stay, which they want me to book during the week when I am working or else pay for an additional night to satisfy their two nights minimum stay policy over the weekend. Money hunger pathetic.

Our experience was very bitter sweet…
It was a good hotel! Very clean and had very good vibes, but not very good for the amount we payed. We were due to go about a month before but unfortunately due to lockdown the hotel cancelled which was fine, apart from the fact that we were charged $100 cancellation fee for something completely out of our control? There was also no option of getting the money back, instead we were given a credit, although I understand that they have to make profit somehow and COVID has been hard on many small business.
We drove my partners car to the hotel and I bought

Manager aggressive and rude! During our stay we had no water due to a.pipe bursting. On arrival back to our room we saw the sms messages and asked about the situation and what to do about water... the Manager accused us of being in the room and not filling up with water?? When she finally gave us some water she took it away again leaving us with nothing! All because I asked if we needed to put the bucket of water in the sink to wash dishes when we had no water to wash hands or flush toilet! The manager is noted in many reviews as rude and unhelpful. No sleep as a tree scraped on the windows all
