All suites have free Wifi and amenities such as minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, microwave, LCD TVs, USB Charging points x2, reverse cycle air conditioning, fluffy bathrobes, hairdryer and quality toiletries.The Baudin Suite is upstairs with a large balcony overlooking lush gardens. Downstairs rooms feature french doors to the guest garden where you can relax in your private outdoor seating area or use the BBQ in the outdoor dining area.

Our tranquil gardens provide many sunny spots and shady corners where guests can enjoy a peaceful read or a good glass of wine. In addition to each suite having it's private outdoor area, there are a BBQ and dining table provided for guest use. Lanterns Retreat is just a few hundred metres from Geographe Bay with it's brilliant white sand and sparkling blue water.
Being within the Margaret River region Newberry Manor is very close to a many high quality wineries, wonderful art galleries, fantastic coastal rock features and nature paths, caves, the whales (which are everywhere from Sept to Nov) and a wealth of gorgeous cafes and restaurants!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a lovely French style. The communal area was very relaxing. We had the upstairs room with the balcony. The rooms were very clean and Serge the owner who was very charming and accommodating has thought of everything to make a stay comfortable. The worst thing about our trip was leaving and we won't hesitate to stay at Lanterns Retreat again.

Wow, what an incredible place to stay! The lodge is absolutely beautiful. Large rooms with the comfiest bed I have ever slept on - I seriously did not want to leave. Serge is a fantastic host, super professional and lovely. The rooms are so beautifully put together and considered. Serge has really put together all the small details that you want when travelling. I will absolutely be staying here again. Thanks for such a wonderful time.

Spectacular. They have spa bathtubs in the king rooms, cool vintage props here and there, the owner is so friendly and professional. There's something so calming about this whole place and I guarantee you won't want to leave. Definitely feels like a home away from home. I will be back next holiday ☺️

My wife and I loved this place, great location, easy walk to town, lovely building, fabulous room and Serge was the perfect host.
Joined us for a chat in the lounge room with cosy log fire and unexpectedly brought us some complimentary, delicious home made soup.
Will definitely be our new home when we visit Dunsborough again

Great location within walking distance to the town centre and the beach. Beautiful accommodation set in a lovely quiet residential street. We received a very warm and genuine welcome from Serge and a nice surprise of a free upgrade to the Superior King Spa Suite, which was very tastefully furnished, very private, spacious and comfortable.

Such a beautiful house in lovely gardens. Relaxing and comfortable rooms and shared guest lounge... love the old colonial/French style. Perfect location a few minutes walk to the bay and the town. Serge is extremely helpful and was very accommodating with our booking. Highly recommend Lanterns for a short stay.

On a belated honeymoon, the superior King Spa room is incredible. to the myriad of birds singing. Oh it's lovely to sit outside sipping wine in the evenings too ! The communal sitting room and wood burning… stove are a peaceful spot too. The room is sumptuous, the bathroom huge. Serge is a wonderful host but the highlight is sitting on the veranda watching the winter sun light the treetops in the garden, listeningo.A longer stay is a must
