The advice below covers how to choose a caterer, how to avoid stress, how to avoid pitfalls, where to save money and where NOT to try and save money. There are some fantastic advantages to having a small wedding in your home. It's tremendously economical compared to an event in a venue. Not just because of the venue savings.
Our first piece of catering advice for a Memorial Service: delegate. When someone you trust says 'is there anything I can do to help?', ask them to organise the wake, or at least the catering for the wake. The grieving person is in no condition to be making decisions and the catering mishaps we've seen at wakes are invariably where the grieving person has been responsible.
What size are the platters? They're a 40cm steel platter. We don't fill them on the basis of pieces or portions, but we try to make sure each platter is equivalent in size. For 40 guests you'd need 8 - 10 large platters. Our online ordering system works out the quantities for you then we check the order over personally.

Telephone staff were helpful and patient with my many requests for advice and assistance with my order, and kindly accommodated the many changes to the catering order.We were absolutely satisfied with our finger food, as catering exceeded our expectations. We ordered hot and cold finger foods for an 80th birthday celebration and afternoon tea.

A huge thanks for making my 50th last night a stress free event when it came to catering. The food was delicious and I along with my guests were very impressed. A special mention of Eugene who was terrific. He setup, served and cleaned up, he was a lovely gentleman and would highly recommend him too. Already given your name to a couple of friends and would certainly use your company again.

Excellent food options, great food staff that put in that extra effort because of pride not because they are looking for a pat on the back. There is no event they can't handle, let them take the stress for you, and so you can enjoy your event. You won't be disappointed.

We had the most special night with your Lovers Choice menu. enjoyed it right here at home on the balcony. Just gorgeous. It was so well packed and arranged we could have taken it anywhere, on a boat, on a picnic, anything.

My wife organised Finger Foods to cater my son's 18th birthday for 70 people, we also hired two of their staff to serve for a few hours. We could not be more impressed with the amount of food, the quality of the food and the professional service we received form the two laddies that served for us.
As well as heat up and serve the food the ladies cleaned up and left the kitchen spotless, the left over food was put into containers and left ready for us to serve the guests later on in the night.
We have received great feedback from our guests on how great the food was, I highly recommend using Finger

Wow, what can I say. We used Finger Food catering for my husbands 60th party yesterday and would highly recommend them. Their food was delicious (especially their meat arancini balls) and the service that Marie gave us was second to none. The kitchen was left very clean and tidy. All our guests were very complimentary of the food and service and will definately use them in the future. Thank you all very much.

A big thanks to the team at Fingerfoods Catering for ensuring our daughters engagement party was a wonderful event. From the easy booking page to the quality of the fingerfood, we couldn't have had better service. I would highly recommend the staff that ensured once delivered the food was served hot and presented beautifully and my kitchen spotless at the end of the service. Couldn't have asked for better!!
