Jasmine Skye Photography was established back in 2012 in Perth, Western Australia. Built with pure love of portrait photography, and a crazy passion to be better at it then I was yesterday. Since kids I've realised life doesn't always turn out how you planned it, but it certainly is what you make of it.
This project is about CELEBRATING what unconventional families are doing differently that push them from surviving into thriving. Together, with local Perth families I'm creating a collection of empowering stories and photographs to completely disrupt what society deems a conventional family. Enough with the doom and gloom stories, lets be the change the world needs right now, and shine some light.
I am hugely proud to share that I was announced as the 2020 Western Australia photography business of the year by findaphotographer.com.au! This award was judged by a panel of judges but largely came down to client reviews. This just means so much to me, because I know without doubt word of mouth and reviews has been the driver of my success over the last 9 years.
So your other half has popped the question, and wedding planing has well and truly set in! The biggest party you will ever have to organise and it's completely understandable if you're feeling the pressure! Before you know it, you're so focussed on all the little details to make everything perfect for your big day.
Wedding photography is real a joy for me as I get to experience, and share such an intimate view of- a particularly stand out favourite day in your life! No two stories are the same. Everybody comes from different backgrounds, families, life experience, values, and essentially we all love differently.

I had the amazing experience to be part of Jasmine’s underwater photography ‘SUBMERGE’ workshop and oh boy was it so fun!
Being a hobbyist photographer was a challenge but Jasmine structured the workshop well so that we can apply theory into practice. She was geared to provide us with all the knowledge from camera technicalities to shooting underwater.
I would love to do a similar workshop in the future and would highly recommend any passionate photographers out there to share the fun and experience with Jasmine 😊

The SUBMERGE workshop exceeded my expectations on every level. I arrived on Sunday afternoon at the beginning of the workshop with no experience with underwater photography. By the end of the following day, I had learned a suite of skills which allowed me to understand the fundamentals of using underwater housing, hold my breath for longer (yet safely), take some banger images of a mermaid and a beautiful pregnant muse. SUBMERGE has been of immeasurable value to me as a photographer due to Jasmine's well thought out structure of content and application over the two day workshop, her nurturing mentoring

You will not find a more patient, talented and altogether wonderful photographer in Perth to capture the most special moments in life. Jasmine made both of our photography sessions (maternity and newborn) so enjoyable and memorable and now we have an abundance of beautiful photographs to treasure for a lifetime. My recent underwater pregnancy shoot with Jasmine was an amazing and unique experience. Getting in (very warm, inviting) water late in pregnancy is always a nice relief, and to be able to come away with such gorgeous, fine art-feeling shots was the icing on the cake. Jasmine made the shoot so much fun and had great posing and breathing tips, as well as gorgeous props that made the photos look ethereal. I would highly recommend this kind of shoot with Jasmine as it is a unique way to capture a special time!

I am delighted to review Jasmine Skye Photography! I’ve never liked being photographed because the photos never looked how I saw myself. As well, I don’t like posing. I gave up even looking for someone to take my photos and I tried taking my own, both of myself and my artwork. I got more authenticity this way, of course, but there was real lack of professional quality. This was important because I needed excellent quality photos for re-designing my website. I didn’t know how to fine tune my SLR, and I didn’t have the time actually, or know how to harness the beauty of natural light, which

Working with Jasmine was a true delight! She made me feel so comfortable in my own skin and considering I was literally only wearing my skin during the daylight at a public beach with many onlookers I’m still in awe of how comfortable I truly was! Jasmine did an absolutely amazing job as our wedding photographer. She was warm, flexible and responsive and was able to get wonderful photos of the wedding party and guests.
Jasmine consistently went above and beyond to make our day special. She spent extra time with us on the day and made sure everybody felt comfortable. It was great to have a photographer that had the people skills as well as the technical skills.
She accommodated us when we had to change the date of the wedding for personal reasons and when we requested copies of the photos early she found the time to put together our online

We used Jasmine for our maternity and newborn shoots and we are so happy with how they both turned out!
Jasmine was very professional and helped us feel relaxed trying to be "models".
She has a great studio we used for our newborn photos and the fact she is also a paediatric nurse also put our minds at ease!
(We also picked up some handy baby soothing methods!)
We definitely recommend her to anyone wanting beautiful photos!

Jasmine has been taking photos of me and my family for the past four years. I love the photos she captures of my family as they are beautiful and authentic and why I have returned to use her services every year. Our family photos include our two medium size dogs, Jasmine helps you to choose a location that will suit you and your situation/family and that you will feel comfortable in. We had two photoshoots with Jasmine, maternity and newborn. It was a really good value package and although I wasn't sure about the maternity to start I'm so glad I have those pictures! Jasmine is really down to earth and easy to work with, great with the family too and managed to get several stunning photos of my 5 year old which is a miracle! Sessions were simple to book and communication was excellent. Turnaround of the gallery was great too. Would highly recommend Jasmine for all your family shoots!
