Consistently good, great daily specials on the menu for just $13! You can't cook it at home for that! Recommend it.

Boiled beef ribs covered in sweet BBQ sauce. Eh, pass. Can't say I'll ever be returning to this place.

We found this to be a better than average pub.
It wasn't busy when we visited.
I had the lamb cutlets with veggies (although it came with chips not mash)
Suzie had the Maca-barra, a barramundi fillet covered in macadamia crust.
Both were tasty and I'd order again.
They have a range of $10 cocktails. Ordered a margarita, but it tasted more like a mocktail.
View from the front bar street counter was entertaining.

The schnitzel was quite good. I wasn't a fan of the layout of the pub. The bistro area was ok but the rest of the pub wasn't great. The general seating area was open to the elements and it was raining. The bar staff were quite slow in pouring beers and registering the sale creating a lineup that shouldn't of been as long as it was.
Overall ok bar to go for a meal but personally I wouldn't choose here for a casual drink.

Yummy food! Always get delivery meals which I think are a little pricey but when I dined in the meals were huge so definitely worth eating in! Delicious

Holy Moly what a meal... had the rack of ribs and it was massive and so yummy, lots of meat on each rib and very tender.
Great meal.

Lovely vibe to this local hotel. Decor is old world but fresh. Go look for the 2017 flood level sign near the bar and be surprised! Food was as advertised- pub food done well. Great service, goods ambiance, prices are reasonable. I’ll do a General McCarthy...I will return.

Enjoyable evening with friends
We were nicely surprised to have live music really good sound but a bit too loud to talk over but we were warned if too loud to let them know
We were sitting close to the performance, couldn’t move away as 10 of us together
Food really enjoyed good healthy sized meals
Wanted dessert but too full
Husband loved Guinness on tap cold +++
Great night
Thank you

This pub was pretty cool. In fact it was probably one of the better pubs in Lismore. In fact I'd be tempted to say the best, if it wasn't for the fact that they didn't have any craft beers on tap. Still, this place was pretty cool, though I found the staff to be a little sharp at times. However, they do have a pretty nice area out the back, though the ashtrays on the tables do indicate that it is mainly for the smokers. Still, I did quite like this place, and it was open Sundays as well.
