All new clients will need to book an assessment before commencing Clinical Exercise & Pilates at MD Health, but the good news is they're FREE!* As well as Clinical Exercise & Pilates supervised by our Physios we also offer Casual Physiotherapy appointments. In addition to Clinical Exercise & Pilates classes run by our Accredited Exercise Physiologists we also offer Casual Exercise Physiology sessions.

We do recommend regular Clinical Exercise & Pilates classes to get the best results but can assist you on a one off basis as well! If so, then MD Health Clinical Exercise & Pilates with our Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists is right for you! At MD Health we specialise in Clinical Exercise & Pilates and recommend our 13 Week program to help manage pain and acute injuries.

MD Health was founded in 2002, by Managing Director and Senior Physiotherapist Michael Dermansky, with the purpose of making a real impact and positive impact on the lives of our clients that come to us for help. Our mission is to not just reduce our client's pain in the short term, we aspire to make a difference in the underlying reason why their injury may have happened in the first place.
Meet our team of Physiotherapists and Accredited Exercise Physiologists at our Kew East, Doncaster East & Paddington clinics. Michael has had formal training on McKenzie Mechanical Lumbar & Cervical training, Clinical Pilates Level 1&2; Ergonomics for Physiotherapists & Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop.
As well as Clinical Exercise & Pilates supervised by our Physios we also offer Casual Physiotherapy appointments. As well as Clinical Exercise & Pilates supervised by our EP's we also offer Casual Exercise Physiology appointments. Our unique Clinical Exercise program at MD Health involves Clinical Pilates techniques to get you feeling your best!
The MD Health Club is for our clients who have been with us for longer than 13 weeks and have completed MD Health's 13 Week Program. Once you are a part of the MD Health Club you will received discounted Gold Membership Pricing as well as FREE promotional sessions and a freebie for your birthday. For our clients who have been with us for 13 weeks and completed our MD Health 13 Week Program we invite you to join our 13 Week Club.
For all new clients (or returning old clients) MD Health require you to book a FREE Full Body Assessment before commencing any group Clinical Exercise sessions. FREE Full Body Assessment - for new clients or returning clients who haven't been in for 6 months or more. An amazing place with incredibly well trained physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. I started classes when pregnant and found them to be excellent for keeping me strong during the third trimester as well as through birth and into post partum. Friendly, expert professionals who have provided me with an ever changing customised exercise program to address my health issues.
They have enabled me to remain very active for many years even with significant arthritis in my knees. After a recent knee replacement, I recovered very quickly and walked unaided at two weeks. The targeting of my exercise program to strengthen my knees over many years was largely responsible for my rapid recovery.

MD health is an interesting physiotherapy centre. It’s actually more of a cross between physiotherapy, Pilates, and a gym. What happens is that when you go there you sign up for a 13 week program (unless you’re a student or senior, in which case you can go casually). During the first few sessions, you are one-on-one with the physiotherapist. In subsequent sessions, you have two on one sessions.
During the sessions, basically the physiotherapist/exercise physiologist has you doing very light strength training exercises inspired by Pilates (but not actually traditional Pilates). Each session
