Still digesting while writing. Awesome honest and hearty food. Looks like I’ve found my new favourite restaurant

Very expensive food there and the way they enclosed the outdoor area is stuffy and claustrophobic.

I know I say this will all the places I try, but this was so delicious!
Everything was on point. Recommend the baby octopus, calzone (#2), Penne Romana, even the garlic bread was delicious, crispy on the outside, soft and buttery, with a flutter of cheese..
The desserts were also great, we had the baked ricotta cheese cake and tiramisu. Only critique was the tiramisu didn't have enough sponge to Mascarpone as they used a glass with a smaller base to the rim, but still great.
Can't wait to come again soon!

Super good food but so slow during Covid. Was told 35 minutes to pick up and got there and told wasn’t ready. Had to wait a further 30 minutes outside with 15 others . Will definitely go back but only when Covid is over

Such a shame really as the food is lovely but the owner has to be the rudest person in hospitality I have ever come across. From the way he speaks to his staff to his customers the very people paying his income and keeping him in business is disgraceful. Tasty food will only go so far, being yelled at and spoken down to because the owner can't hear clearly speaks volumes about this place. He really needs to work on his customer service skills.

When we ordered we were told a 30 minute wait. We ended up waiting 55 minutes for our pizza which was unacceptable and a terrible representation of customer service. Also on receiving our order the worker did not apologise for the wait or inconvenience at anytime. We found that quite rude and unprofessional. Due to this unfortunate and inadequate situation we will not be returning to this business and will not be spending anymore money towards Mamma Barone. I highly recommend ordering online before going in as you may have a slight chance of receiving your food/order in between the given timeframe

So disappointed in the quality of food from this place. We thought we would try it as it always seems to be busy. The pizzas were bland and pastas just not pleasant at all.. And to top things off the service was just plain rude by the manager.. The girls serving were very nice though truth be said.. What a shame 1 less local restaurant we won't be going back too..

First time eating there. It's not that big inside and with a small number of tables outside as well. When I made booking for an early start, I was asked if I could vacate the table by 10 to eight, which should be plenty of time, so it's obvious that there's another customer after me for the same table, and it's Sat so understandable.
We ordered a mixed pasta, plus a pizza for 3 people, and that's plenty, all of us really full after that. Mixed pasta is made up of 3 varieties, all delicious and really pleased with all, and the pizza is quite good also, though not as impressive. I had a beer to

Fantastic food!! I had the prawns, absolutely divine. My partner had the pizza, and said it is the best he has tasted.
The manager is such a friendly host. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Good value. Couldn’t ask for more. Will be back for the eggplant parmigiana - fabulous!

The price is a little on the premium side but still very reasonable. However, the quality really speaks for itself. The carbonara pasta I had over there is THE best pasta I've had in Sydney so far! And despite not being a big fan of pizza, I could eat their margarita pizza forever. Their desert was also absolutely top-notch and their service was also-super friendly.
10/10 would recommend! This is my go-to place for Italian food now.

Friendly service and delicious food They have a great and diverse specials board and the menu is fantastic and reasonably priced

Chef Kim and his food is awesome, surely going back there again 😁.
