Coal Seam Gas (CSG) activities are rapidly expanding across the Surat, Bowen and Galilee Basins. It can be a stressful and uncertain time for landholders when faced with proposed CSG exploration or development on their land. The area of law that interests me the most is where a Client that has very little ability (financial or academic or commercial) to contend with an issue that they have been wronged by. To then provide support to the Client and defend their rights and interests with the knowledge of the law, previous experience, common sense and respect for the parties at issue.

Many firms treat conflict management and resolution as "litigation". For Emanate, litigation is rarely the first and never the only option for assisting clients to resolve their differences with others. We appreciate that conflict resolution can be a delicate and sensitive process for those involved.
