Jo has over 10 years experience working as a physiotherapist in both Australia and the UK, since qualifying in 2007. She has dual degrees in both Physiotherapy and Sport and Exercise Science, and has a background of working as a personal trainer. She is therefore passionate about exercise based rehab and uses this alongside her manual therapy and knowledge of biomechanics to give you a holistic approach to your treatment.
Debbie has always been interested in natural health and strongly believes in encouraging the body's own healing ability. Debbie likes to provide her clients a calming, flowing treatment experience. This allows you to feel genuinely free of muscular tension. Her massage technique comprises elements of Swedish and Remedial massage and is carried out according to the client's individual needs.
We are seeking a motivated, skilled, energetic physiotherapist to join our relatively new, growing clinic on the Sunshine Coast. Offering 15-35 hours/week initially, with potential to increase with patient demand. We can be flexible with starting date and available hours for the right applicant.
Ahead Physiotherapy was established in early 2017, and treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions with a particular emphasis on helping people with cervicogenic headache, neck and TMJ dysfunction.Particular experience in this area is not essential, as training and professional development will be supported.

We are all told that physical activity provides essential health benefits, however whether or not we achieve the amount of recommended physical activity is another story. In 2020 the World Health Organisation published revised activity guidelines, based on new evidence to encompass recommendations for specific populations as well as a few other changes.
A common condition seen by physiotherapists is carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an entrapment neuropathy, which basically means nerve injury. At the wrist we have many structures which travel through the carpal tunnel, amongst these structures is the median nerve. Due to the anatomy of the wrist the median nerve is vulnerable to compression or entrapment, which results in the condition known as carpal tunnel syndrome.

We are new to the area and were after the best physio we could get for our 3 athletic girls. It was the first physio we tried and we couldn’t be happier with the care we get from the Physio’s.
From dealing with the reception team to the Physio is the best service.
Thanks for looking after our girls and their health. We really appreciate it 😊🌈 The Wooldridge’s

The team of AHead Physio has always provided me with a great service. At the reception, you will be greeted by a very inviting, warm, friendly, and sincere receptionist Kathy and Murray (Paige too:-) and, the principal physiotherapist - Tim is outstanding! professional and well-knowledgeable in his field. His sincerity and warmness with his client make the experience truly special. I highly recommend the team of AHead Physiotherapy.

I was worried that when I went to see a physio for a torn muscle that I would be left substantially out of pocket. However, not only was Tim absolutely amazing and very thorough, but as I happen to be a member of BUPA, I discovered that Ahead Physiotherapy are part of the BUPA Members First programme, so I only paid around $20 a session! Tim also gave me exercises to do at home and I only needed a couple of sessions with him - CANNOT recommend this practice enough! Thanks Tim and your friendly team.

I have seen many physiotherapists in my sporting career as an Olympian and I have to say that Tim has to be one of the best, he has fixed injuries that I have had for many years that other physiotherapists have not. Especially focusing on my neck area. I have recommended Tim to all my other Olympic colleagues. Great job Tim. All the best with your new practice, it will fly.
