Preventative dental services include check-up and cleans, x-rays, dental care for children, oral hygiene, stain removal, fluoride treatment, teeth whitening and custom mouth guards.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a new child dental benefits programme that gives eligible children access to up to $1000 in benefits per child for dental services over two consecutive calendar years. Children aged between two and 17 will be eligible for Medicare funded dental care.
If your family receives Family Tax Benefit Part A, each of your children will be eligible for up to $1000 worth of Medicare funded dental treatment over a two year period.If your child doesn't use the full $1000 of dental benefits in the first year, they can use the balance in the second year if they are still eligible.

This is the most unprofessional dentist I’ve ever been to. I came in for a clean and check up and discovered a small filling that needed repairing. After drilling for what seemed forever he then patched the filling. The guard ended up stuck and when removed I had the inside of the filling stuck all over my tooth. He then drilled.. and drilled till I ask him to stop as my gums were damaged by this. I stoped the service here and then asked him to stop. I then walked out and paid! I told him I was very unhappy with this service and he didn’t seem to care. He then charged me over and above the
