Dr Nathan Phan received his dental training at Melbourne University and graduated in 1999. After graduating he has been in private practice for the last 21 years working in Essendon, Keilor, and Marybrynong. He embarked on his first dental practice located at 1138 Mt Alexander rd Essendon (inside the SIA medical centre) After several years of planning he relocated his dental practice to its current location Suite 2a 82 Keilor Rd Essendon in 2010.
As you age, your teeth will gradually wear down and develop fracture lines in them. A young 20 year old should have no fracture lines in their teeth, however a 60 year old should have multiple. Starting from the welcoming receptionist, to the hygienist and dentist.

Dental Essence provides outstanding dental services. Probably the best dental experiences I've ever had. Dr Nathan's approach is wonderful and this is the same for other staff at the practise too. Procedures are explained clearly and he has a real commitment to excellence in his work. While I can't really say I look forward to my dental procedures, I do feel at least that I'm receiving the best care possible at each visit with ample opportunity to ask questions and understand the detail behind my care plan.

The nurses were so very lovely but unfortunately I did not have a good experience taking my son to Dr Nathan. If your child is scared of the dentist and has special needs I would not recommend Dr Nathan as he did not react well when my son was crying and scared, he handled the situation unprofessionally. A bit of kindness and patience from the Dentist would of been appreciated in a stressful situation.
