Susan Bradfield Photography is a family portrait studio located in Brighton, Melbourne, Victoria specialising in newborn, child, maternity, family and personal branding photography. I create honest and timeless images that show connection, emotion and soul. SBP is owned and operated by me, Melbourne Bayside born and bred Susan Bradfield.

Services
Once a physiotherapist, and a 'professional' expat who has lived in London, Shanghai and Zurich, I am now proud to have made the transition to professional photography. As a mother of two precious ones, I understand the invaluable and important legacy of photographic memories and passionately believe in the importance of documenting our lives.
For her: the party will be a fun-filled day with birthday cupcakes and a photoshoot (with hair and age appropriate makeup included). What can make it even more perfect? Inviting up to 5 friends to share it all.
What is included: hair and age appropriate makeup, pastel themed tulle outfits if desired, photoshoot with 2 outfit changes, and after the party, at a later date, each girl will receive an individual and group photo print as a party favour and the birthday girl will receive 8 photos - her choice from the photo shoot gallery I will provide.

The tininess of your baby changes in the blink of an eye. I capture these moments to last forever in my portrait studio in Brighton, Bayside Melbourne. My studio is full of beautiful props and drops that I source from around the world. I use different natural textures, fabrics and colours to compliment your baby but unless you would prefer, my emphasis is always on your baby, and not on the props.
Pregnancy can be such a special time to look back on, (although if we are honest, it isn't always). No matter how you feel about your pregnancy journey, I will help you feel beautiful for a few hours. My goal is to capture your maternal beauty and strength in your images for you and for generations to come.
As a mother of two, and a photographer, I believe strongly in the importance of capturing family memories. Melbourne provides countless wonderful opportunities for outdoor photography sessions and I can travel to a location that has meaning to your family (within 12 km of Hampton). I also offer sessions in my Bayside studio of you prefer a studio look.

Susan is a fantastic photographer and helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera so you can get the exact shots you're after. I hadn't updated my business headshots in seven years, and as a writer I'm certainly more comfortable behind a computer than in front of a camera! I now have a beautiful collection of professionals shots I can use across my social channels and website. I highly recommend Susan.

Susan is an amazing photographer. We have used her for a number of different occasions and all the photos are amazing. We have done a cake smash shoot, a family photo shoot, and a newborn shoot. All the photo shoots have gone extemely smoothly. All the photographs from all the sessions have turned out amazing. I highly recommend her.

Susan has photographed our family over the last couple of years: my first maternity shoot and my eldest son as a newborn; and more recently my second maternity shoot (this time with my toddler) and shortly, my second newborn.
Susan is extremely pleasant to deal with - from the initial questions I had about her photography style to dates/time to my "first-time-mum" questions about what to wear and what to expect for our newborn. I love her natural and candid photography style; very quick and no fuss during the session (otherwise my husband would never have agreed to a second maternity shoot!),

I have recruited the services of Susan Bradfield Photography twice, both for headshots for my books. As an author, I wanted crisp, bright and interesting photos.
At the end of her sittings, I was given such a range of photos. Susan's skills to capture great poses has attracted comments from many of my colleagues.
