I attended a letterpress masterclass earlier this year and it was such a fun, fantastic experience. Dan's knowledge is astonishing and his enthusiasm for his craft is infectious. His patience as an instructor and friendly demeanour make for a relaxed atmosphere which is perfect when learning how to operate the complex yet beautiful Original Heidelberg T-platen letterpress. The topics we covered in the class were outlined in the lead up via email as were the directions on how to set up a file for letterpress. Any questions I had before the class were promptly answered and afterward I got to take

Had a GREAT masterclass session with Dan on Saturday! Dan taught me how to use the Heidelberg Platen Press machine and my goodness did I learn a lot! Dan explains things in such an easy and logical way that you can pick things up straight away. He will make sure you understand everything you are doing, and has so much patience answering a million questions! Also took home a stack of beautiful business cards that we created together, bonus!

Kia Ora :) Dan is the man!!! me & and my fiance drove down to his shop cause we really needed wedding invitations done asap...he gave us a mini tour of his factory & machinery and showed us some of his work which was very impressing mixed with a lot of laughter from his never ending stories..He has a ridiculous amount of knowledge in the printing industry and is a top guy!! Our invites turned out beautiful and just what my partner wanted..simple yet elegant!! Dan worked well within the time frame & our budget. I was absolutely blown away when I opened our wedding invitations, they were SO so beautiful!! Dan and Denise were an absolute dream to work with! They have easily provided me with the best customer service I have received in years. The support, advice and help given to me from specification changes to my design in Indesign (as I am self taught) to stock and ink colour suggestions was outstanding. I even received videos of my designs being printed!! (talk about about above and beyond!).
