Christopher Grace is a highly experienced psychologist and family therapist who provides a professional, confidential counselling service in the Melbourne CBD and eastern suburbs. Christopher is registered with the national board, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and has membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Services
Christopher provides a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment for clients to freely air their concerns, discuss issues and discover strategies that will help improve their personal situations and their ability to handle future problems. From a theoretical point of view, Christopher utilizes narrative, cognitive behavioural and family therapy frameworks in his work.
Clients can cancel or reschedule an appointment anytime, as long as they provide 24 hours notice. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged for the appointment. If eligible, you may receive up to 10 individual services in a calendar year. Your referring doctor (GP/Psychiatrist/Paediatrician) will assess after the first six sessions.

A person who's had a traumatic experience and hasn't received professional help, can develop severe psychological emotional and behavioural symptoms. A traumatic event can be very sudden and unexpected but it can also be prolonged over weeks and months. Just remembering a traumatic event can set off a strong stress response.
