Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that eases pain and helps heal soft tissue in as little as 6 weeks. This treatment is used for conditions such as Tendinopathies (tendon) & muscle pain. Shockwave therapy is a single acoustic pressure pulse applied to injured tissue to initiate repair. Compressed air is converted into radial shock waves, using the shockwave applicator it is delivered to the tissue on the affected area of the body.

Wheel chair access - We have now finished our new entrance which is completely accessible to wheelchairs. Free parking is available on Cumberland Street, Cooper Street and in the carpark across the road (off Cumberland Street). Parking in Cumberland Street is 1 hour. Council Car Parking is available at the back of the building via St Andrews Street or Imperial Lane.

Giuliano Melileo has performed many procedures and assessments for me over the years, and it has always been a really great and successful experience. He has resolved many issues for me including in-grown toenails, and muscle strains. I had foot pain for years. Light exercise or even a short walk at work would result in terrible pain. Giuliano Melileo fitted me for orthotics and my life changed instantly. Since then I’ve had many procedures with Giuliano including a Total Nail Avulsion. Very impressed. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Matthew and his team are the best podiatrist in Newcastle and the Hunter. There is no one else I would trust to take care of me. The staff are friendly and professional. Having recently lost a toe nail, due to a fungal infection, I attended the practice. My session lasted less than 15 minutes and consisted of having my nails cut very short, down to the quick on one nail, being told to wash my feet and that I could buy a topical application from a chemist. And for this I was charged $65. I will not be returning and would not recommend this practice to anyone.

I originally couldn’t get an appointment however due to a cancellation I was contacted straight away and offered one with Matthew. I had an ingrown toenail that needed removing and Matt offered me local or said some people grit their teeth and deal with it. I didn’t go there to be in pain otherwise I would’ve continued to hack it myself at home. So… we’re talking away about the Jets whilst Matthew starts the injections into my toe. Next minute I’m covered in a cold sweat and coming out of a weird dream. I’d just fainted from the pressure into my toe from
