Jane Baroni's Pink Gig approached Tim and Claire Leech, owners of White Salt Caf who jumped straight on board to host the event which was a sellout within a week! Their staff worked the event for FREE! 90 guests were treated to an amazing HIGH TEA created by White Salt's Head Chef Josh Vears. All food, tea and coffee were kindly donated by the local suppliers of White Salt.

Had a Lunch date with a dear friend yesterday and we enjoyed every minute. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. We started with bread and dips and we both had the King Prawn Risotto, Yum! The staff and ambience were great and love being by the ocean. Will definitely be returning. Thank you all for such a pleasant experience.

I just had the gluten free truffled gnocchi , and my partner had the pork "Boston butt" & pork bites. I'll quote him " - I don't know what's going on with this pork, but it's absolutely amazing!" Some of the best meals we've had on our two weeks holiday in Perth. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

I am writing to thank you for such a wonderful night we had at your venue for our end of year staff function.
The young lady (sorry can not recall her name)(too many cocktails 😳) who took care of our party was lovely & very professional.
The set up of decorated tables was roomy & it enabled us to move around & chat to everyone. The drinks were continuously flowing & many a different cocktail were drunk & enjoyed! The food was delicious, also the extra menu dietary choices were fantastic & the serving flowed perfectly allowing everyone to be eating together.

Celebrating a family engagement we had a wonderful night. All the staff were so personable, congratulating the happy couple. The food was amazing and the service fantastic. Seated by the window it was also very… picturesque to see the sun go down. Earlier other patrons were seated outside enjoying a relaxed happy hour. We will definitely join them in the future. Thanks for a great night.

Booking was straight-forward; surprised and thankful to get a table on a Saturday evening on short notice. Service was good from the time we entered until we left even though the place was busy. Staff were attentive and friendly!!
Reasonably priced meals and good servings, meat and fish were cooked to our liking. I still think about the pepper sauce.. 🤤ðŸ’
Overall a lovely evening, with a view of the sun setting over the beach.

Fantastic food and service at White Salt. Celiac husband had GF truffle mushroom gnocchi. My Asian chicken salad was delicious, not gf. The seafood platter ($38) was modified to incl gf bread, and chilli mussels instead of squid. The staff are all very GF aware, and they have a very good wine list. 🍷

Went today for breakfast to celebrate my son's birthday. Great food, he even got a free milkshake for his birthday. 😃 while there I notice one of the young staff was a little upset. Not sure what happened, but… I was so impressed to see the owner put her arm around the young person took them aside to see if there were ok.. How Lovely!! Well done White Salt for looking after your staff so well.. 👏👏

We recently had our staff EOFY lunch at White Salt and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our long lunch that rolled on into happy hour - service was great, food was delicious & plentiful, cockails were delicious & great spot with ocean views. Menu is varied and covered our groups dietary needs. Happy hour is poplular with a loyal local following.

Went here for dinner last night (at around 8pm) and atmosphere was good and the food was tasty. But the service was so slow! Even the wait staff had to apologize to each table for the delay, a neighboring table was advised after sitting there with their drinks for about 20 minutes that the staff couldn't take anymore food orders as the kitchen was backed up and couldn't keep up! The restaurant was only 1/2- 3/full. Not sure on the reason why there such a delay maybe the kitchen was short staffed we were not advised why the kitchen was so backed up

Had the veal and chips - typical modern Australian cuisine - nothing too unique or special. The chips were a bit too salty for my liking. A bit overpriced but you would expect it for such an array The treat was the view and beautiful weather ! They could think of more creative ways to enhance the menu ?!

I was looking for a relaxed place were to have good food and chilling out in the meantime, the location was nice and it has a relaxed atmosphere.
It took a while before we start eating despite there were only 6 or 8 customers, maybe it was late (2:00 pm) and at that time under staffed, who knows!?
I was a bit disappointed with the food, the bruschetta was good, the rest was just average food you can get in any pub or tavern.
If you're looking for a good location, ocean view and nice relaxed atmosphere, this is could be a good pick, simple

I'm pretty sure I've reviewed white salt before but I love this place so much I have to again! Last weekend when it was hot hot hot my friend and I had just had a nice dip in the sorrento ocean and decided to get something light to eat and drink. We headed straight across the road go white salt. The service is friendly and spectacular and they make you feel really special even though you are in things and bathers we had truffle fries with Parmesan and affogato and it went down quick. All was delish and came out quick! Highly recommend this place for a drink, dinner or light snack 10

White Salt is a great choice for dinner after work during the warmer months, as the timing is usually perfect to catch the sunset before tucking into a meal. It's relatively quiet on weeknights, but it doesn't feel like the sort of quiet where you have to question how good the place is. The pricing of dishes sometimes seems a little high, but I do keep my eye out for when the menu changes - the current menu looks very reasonably priced with more than a few new options that I hope to head up for soon as we leave winter behind and can enjoy the outdoor seating.

Went for Business Lunch on a Friday with two others, they were hosting a Local Chamber of Commerce lunch so was reasonably busy.

The set lunch menu had some good options. I had scallops with pork belly (which was a bit tough, but tasty). A friend noticed another customer having the same entree as her, but theirs came with cheese...
My other friend had to send her lukewarm soup back.
Mains were generous serves. My rabbit pie was good, but had a bone as a bonus.
