A graduate of the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Dr. Parmar is a highly skilled dental surgeon. She has gained extensive knowledge, training and experience practicing dentistry in Tasmania, Newcastle and Sydney before working at Dee Why Family Dental. Always looking to improve and sharpen her abilities, Dr. Parmar regularly attends courses to maintain and enhance her current knowledge.
Here at Dee Why Family Dental we have an onsite HICAPS machine to process your health fund payments. This is a convenient way for you to claim your health fund payment towards your dental treatment on the spot. Composite resin fillings are tooth-coloured restorations often used to replace amalgam (silver) fillings. Everyone here is fantastic - I was fit in for an emergency appointment the morning that I called and received expert care from Dr Sarmiento - she took great care of me and made practical recommendations. As someone who feels a lot of anxiety especially when going to the dentist I felt right at ease here and in good hands. Will be back again

I have always been anxious with going to dentists due to past bad experiences throughout my life with other dentists. I chipped my upper front teeth when I was little, have had them repaired a few times, but I must say Dr Adriana Sarmiento's work has been the best so far. She listened to my requests with no rush and turned my broken upper incisors into great looking teeth with beautiful shape and colour. And last but not least, the dental assistant and the admin staff were pleasant and made the whole process run smoothly. Definitely, it was worth the trip from Canberra!

This is a great dental practice with very friendly staff and gentle, professional dentists and hygienists. I have been going here for myself and my 2 young kids and could not be more impressed. They are great with kids- my 4 year old is very sensitive and she now loves the dentist. Highly recommend.

I went to the dentist for consultation to find out how much will it cost me with a gap on my teeth and she recommended me the fix bridge.
And finally got my bridges done and it was painless and all done in one appointment which left me very happy and satisfied.
Will definitely go back together with my children whenever we need a dentist again.
