Established in 2000, Montania cafe bar restaurant set out to bring a slice of the cosmopolitan city feel to the suburbs. The multi award winning Montania is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, offering casual A'la carte dining at it's best. Nestled right on the edge of the Dandenong Ranges with great atmosphere and a reputation for amazing food, service and coffee.

Offering two dining areas to choose from, including a large alfresco terrace with ample free parking. Our Chef brings to the table an extensive menu with a twist on classic Italian, complimented by a fully licensed bar, showcasing our local wineries in the Yarra Valley, accompanied with a range of local and international tap beer and cider.

Food was absolutely amazing, all staff were friendly, but our waitress for the night Glicka was outstanding. Nothing was to much trouble, I along with the others I dined with will definitely be back.

First time at Montania restaurant and what a delight it was. It was a bit noisy inside so we moved outside. Our waitress Glinka was so friendly and welcoming, she really added to a lovely dining experience.
The food was delicious. I had the pork ribs and my wife had a pasta dish. There were about another 5 main dishes that I would have chosen from… the menu. We loved the look of the desert menu but couldn’t fit it in. We look forward to trying the sweets next time.
I would highly recommend the restaurant for quality casual dining and can’t wait to go back. They also do breakfast

First time at this restaurant, staff were very friendly and service was prompt. Arancini was very tasty . Fungi Bianca pizza would be one of the best we have ever had, wine on the expensive side but overall a great lunch experience, will definitely recommend and go back

Very warm and friendly atmosphere with lovely food. All the staff were extremely pleasant and the food came without a hitch — tasted amazing and unique. Thoroughly enjoyed our night and love the setup of the tables (especially upstairs). Would recommend a visit.

We ordered Funghi Bianco Pizza and it was simply awesome.
Lemon & Ginger Tea Pot was great and so was the Chai Latte.

We have always enjoyed dining here over 10 or so years. The food and service has been delightful.
However, it appears that prices have risen, so we have gone elsewhere to ge elsewhere.
We had a date night and my husband ordered a pizza (nice) and I had risotto with pumpkin and cashews (I have eaten many times). The price I felt for takeaway container of risotto was expensive. The cheese on top gives the flavour to this dish, however, I felt it was quite bland compared to.the many other times I have eaten it.

My family had a great dining experience in Montania. The food was tasty. I love my Honey Pumpkin and Chicken Risotto and the Peanut Butter Fudge for dessert. The staff were also very friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

We came here for a birthday dinner for 6 people using the Groupon deal. Every dish from entree to mains and desserts were well presented, generous portions and delicious. The service was also very good.
Definitely, we would return to try the other dishes.

The cafe was extremely busy as it was the 2nd day out of lockdown. Staff were welcoming & had a smile for everyone. Our meals were delicious with generous servings. We'll definitely return.

I am just walk in for this cafe but give me a Biggggest surprise！ I am finished the whole gourmet seafood pizza ,they used the stuffing rich and fresh with special garlic sauce. And the Soup of the day is Thai pumpkin give me the incredible taste,pumpkin’s sweet with a bit spicy and sour it is a creative dish! Great service and lovely brunch!:-)
